yah, I have seen that on youtube. I think the youtube video is longer and the skinny guide does a better job handling the giant goliath groupers better than the strong men do.

On vacation in Florida, we went out on a big charter boat with about 40 of us on the boat elbow to elbow and although I only caught a few red snapper 100 feet down on wrecks, the person next to me had something HUGE on unable to raise it off the bottom 100feet much at all. battling it for over 30 minutes with no luck on budging it much off bottom. I wonder what it was?? Another person caught a dolphin but as soon as it jumped into the air a few times, required to cut the line off ASAP.
I wanted to come back with bigger fish than just a few 6-7 lb. red snapper that IMO was not great tasting to begin with, just o.k. tasting. sorta sucked being elbow to elbow with fishermen got a few snags with them using heavy weight to get down on the wrecks 80-100 ft down or so. Was even worse is the 4 hour charter trip was well over 2 hours going out and back 10 miles off shore and then ONLY fishing 10-20 minutes on each GPS marked spot. If no one of the 40 catch much in 10-15 minutes, the charter captain told us to reel in and move onto the next GPS spot taking another 20-30 minute boat ride so guessing 1 hour tops of fishing in 4 hours was not my cup of tea.
