If a guy were to be doing a custom build and wanted a sportier looking front fender, is there one from say a different model of any brand bike that is a good fit with the stock front wheel tire combination? Some say the Kawasaki 1600 Vulcan Mean streak front fender is an option? Are there any other recommendations? Has anyone tried the Vulcan fender?

I just bought a 1998 GL1500 CT with 16,000 miles on it for a project build. It is totally stock.

I hadn't heard about about the Vulcan fender (even though I used to have a Mean Streak), but there definitely were some that used a VTX fender or a Shadow fender.  http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,42506.0.html
