clutch chatter
«
on:
June 14, 2022, 07:37:17 PM »
Lately upon non-agressive launches I've noticed some what I would call chatter
before hooking up.
My 97 has 100k kms (62k miles) on the clock. Seems to pull hard when pushed
in all gears, just on takeoff that annoying symptom. Using Shell T4
Perhaps lubrication needed on the lifter (?) rod
TIA

Possibly the clutch dampener plate rivets.
Other symptoms are the clutch lever is harder to pull or doesn't return.
Check out this older post.
Not difficult to fix with moderate mech skill.
