For those of you streaming music from your phone on the I/S to the bike's speakers, wondering how you've got it set up. I've got helmet speakers so streaming to the helmet is covered. It would be nice to occasionally use the speakers though. Since I found a decent volume booster app I'm thinking if I could stream to the speakers, with the app, I'd be able to hear it much better. I'm definitely electronically challenged so I thought by using a 5 pin din to a 3.5mm cord and plugging into the 5 pin plug by the upper left hand dash and setting the system to AUX I'd get sound from the bike's speakers... no go. I've used the dash 5 pin plug with ear buds, so I guess it's just for output from the bike's stereo system. I've heard ppl mention an AUX plug under the right side cover. Would that be a 5 pin AUX input plug to input devices?

I took all the radio wiring off of my IS, so I can't go look, HOWEVER, I did look at the schematics. Page 8 of the "Rattlebars" schematics upper left corner shows an Aux input mini receptacle under the right side cover. It is probably what you need. When I had my Goldwing there was one in the fairing pocket. Select AUX and plug the output of your player into it.
Hope it works for you.

So there is an AUX input plug under the cover. That should work. Thanks for the info, much appreciated.

I bought a Bluetooth unit and plugged it in to the mini jack. Mounted it over the cb controls (don’t have one) and can also use as hands free and talk on the phone (under 50mph) works great.

Interesting. Seems that could be pretty convenient if it plugs into the dash plug, leaving the AUX connector free for the phone input.

Need to plug your phone into the aux plug under the left side cover. Then you can toggle back and forth

I Have satellite radio plugged into the aux port under the left side cover.  Used the helmet intercom plug with an adapter cable to a Sena SM10 Bluetooth mounted on the handlebars that connects to sena 50 mounted in our helmets.

Can listen to the radio then flip over to aux port and can listen to satellite radio.

Can toggle between speakers and headphones depending on which I want to listen too.
