Hello guys!

I own a Honda Valkyrie GL1500CT Japanese version with reverse gear.
Bought the bike at an auction in Japan. Was specifically looking for the Tourer version with reverse gear.
However, bike came to me with damaged wiring and no reverse control unit. I bought the used control unit separately.

Anyway, I am restoring my dream.

Looking for any documentation on the Japanese version of the Honda Valkyrie 1500.
I found Dag's old post here: http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,34970.0.html
>>> "I just got this from Japan:
http://valkyrienorway.com/japanese/wire1.html "
However, the link is long dead and Dag hasn't looked here yet.

Share the knowledge about the Japanese version, someone please.

I need: model difference, fiche, wire diagram sheets.
Maybe someone has a japanese service manual specifically?

Any info would be appreciated.
Thank you!

search the tech section. there is a thread about adding the reverse to a non-reverse valkyrie

Thanks for the reply. I have read all the 1500 Tech board posts. The thread you are talking about mentions the wiring diagrams for Gold Wing. The wiring of my version of the Valkyrie is significantly different, both from the GL1500SE, and from the GL1500CT. I am looking for the exact information.

The same profile page states he was here on April 27 (last active).

Yes, of course. The first thing I did was to write him in private messages and e-mail. That was three weeks ago. Smiley
On his page Dag mentioned that the diagrams was sent to him from VRCC Japan, I searched the internet for a mention of this club, but I haven't found it yet either.
Does anyone know the contacts of VRCC Japan?

Are you able to take 4 quarter page photos? It can then be stitched together.

if the original photos are larger and legible, you can post the photos' url's themselves instead of posting them as images. Then the photos won't be limited to the forum's maximum photo size of 800px length or width.

[edit] If the originals photos themselves were resized to 800px, the above won't work.

If your photo hosting website, Post image, puts an 800px max size on the photos it stores, email me the photos and I'll post them here full size.

Unfortunately, the original is a 60K jpg, so there's not a whole lot to work with.

Thanks, I'll try to get something out of the wiring diagram using an analogy.

I tried the wayback machine and there is only one snapshot of the page in 2013 and it is blank.
There is a note saying 'thanks to Takashi from VRCC Japan'

The link to the VRCC Japan is dead, wayback machine show it mostly empty, but I did find an email link to F6Japan (yoshitake0@yahoo.co.jp)

Quick check on FB and I did find a Takashi Yoshiike on the VRCC/Valkyrie Riders Cruiser Club FB (and joined 13yrs ago) and there is a link to the dead VRCC Japan webpage on his profile page.

Strong likelihood his may be the same person who helped on the Norway site.

No problem... no idea if the email is any good, but he does seem to post from time to time on the FB group.

Best of luck!
