I can say that if anyone is on the fence as to whether to go to this Inzane or not, the Inzane side of the fence is where you'll want to be.

The Dubuque area is a phenomenal motorcycle mecca. People are friendly (motorcycle friendly too), historic places abound, Mississippi river views are fantastic. Food. This is where it is grown and made. So it is good stuff.

It is just a wonderful place to explore on a motorcycle.

So if you are wondering if you should go, yes, you should.

I only go to the Eastern Inzanes, not the Western ones.

I bet the East usually get the better attendance (just based on membership numbers), but management's East-West program is pretty fair to the whole crowd.

Alaska Is Home to America’s Easternmost Point

I think it is the Easternmost, Northernmost and Westernmost point. 3 out of 4 isn't too bad.

Continental US would be Maine, Minnesota, Washington and Florida (Southern).

I believe at one point a few years ago part of it was actually in the Mississippi during the flood. So its close!

LOL!  Yes, there are parts of Dubuque that are a few hundred yards west of the River but the city is actually on the edge of the Mississippi.  Perhaps you were speaking strictly of GZ.   Wink

That's understandable Jess, but you're retired, just figure on more days with fewer miles & less saddle time each day. That's what I have done on trips the last few years.

Similar "family issues" here.
Planning on getting there, just not sure how long I'll get to stay.
BTW, when's the last date we can sign up?    Yeah, the timing is that tight..........

When it comes to working out a number of dates, good rule of thumb is just pick your wife or one of your girlfriends for the trip and be sure they don't know about each other so don't ever fit them together. Just askin for trouble right there.
Glad I could help.

For those who are the cool kids and ARE going, a little nugget I just figured out you might want to add to your route planning is Riverside Iowa, and get a pic of you/your bike in front of the future birth place of Captain (Later Admiral) James T. Kirk, born in Riverside Iowa, March 22, 2258.....

The looks on some of the guests faces last year that weren't with our club were Priceless as Daniel rode his Valkyrie thru the lobby to the room set aside for his tutorials. I've been to his tutorials a few times and I Always seem to learn something new to me from him. Well WORTH the time to attend! And he do field questions. RIDE SAFE.

I haven't had occasion to load a Valk in my truck, but believe I can.

I have other riding plans this year.

Maybe next year in the East Evan.
