Just got a call from Joe....He is in the Hospital about to go into surgery. He says he has felt bad for a few days and went to the emergency room and he has a collapsed Lung.
That's all the info I have at this time. His Doc. was coming into the room and he had to go.
I'll try to get in touch with his Wife Cindy and get more info....

Prayers and good thoughts to my good friend Joe!!!!!!

Just Talked to Dossie May.....She couldn't say exactly what they called it but it seems it usually happens to younger people. The surgery is to re inflate the lung and Joe will be in the Hospital for 3 to 4 days.
I have a huge day tomorrow and will be late getting in....I'll post what I know then.

Keep Joe in your prayers... He's one of the good ones.  angel

Prayers going out to Joe from Ossining from the whole Rogers clan

Glad that he had the sense to go get some help. Collapsed lung is serious business.

He kept saying he was having a hard time breathing on Saturday. I figured it was related to the elevation and his smoking.

Get better soon Brother

Sounds like a "Spontaneous Pneumothorax",

Everything should be OK, We'll keep him in our prayers though.

and prayers are with him.

Pneumothorax is not fun.  I know.

Do what the doctor says; breathe deeply; and prepare to become non-smoking Joe.  We have some rides yet to make.

Rest easy, Joe.
