They say the new AZ Imigration Law ( ) is unconstitutional. Yet our 2nd Amendments rights are always being denied. WTF? Do they just pick and choose and decide which are unconstitutional?

While I agree that security & enforcement of the national border is a federal responsibility, (per Art 4, Sec 4) I have never found a clause or rule that would preclude a state from those same enforcements, provided those enforcements were at state's expense. (which they will be, in this case)
There are near identical rules/laws in both federal & state constitutions that exist already, ie: governing murder, theft, etc. Arizona's law stops short of usurping the fed's power of deportation, as their law only provides for incarceration & remanding the illegals to ICE after trial.
Our current administration is screwed up... suing a state that is attempting to uphold US laws, while turning a blind eye to the states & cities that illegally offer/provide sanctuary to illegal immigrants.

I'm not an attorney. But if I were representing Arizona in this case, logic would direct me to file a countersuit as part of my defense. I would stipulate that it is indeed the purview of the feds to enforce the law. And I would cease and desist the moment they began to do their job. Oh, and I'd be asking for some bigtime damages for their admitted dereliction of their constitutional duties. I'd basically tell the feds to do their job or get out of my road. They can't have it both ways.

If Buckwheat's sponsors behind the curtain, can keep AZ from doing what has to be done, then they can push through legislation to give amnesty to all illegals, including him, and those will be votes in his favor in the future destruction of our country.
Buckwheat falls in my theory, "Put your heart in America or get your ass out.
This was a license plate banner during WWII. Heart was a heart Ass was a donkey.
I still have one somewhere in my pile of items, no it is not junk, in the garage. I just don't know which one to look in.

The President of the United States swore on this oath: "I do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States."
He either doesn't have the ability or he has the ability but isn't using it because of his ideology or a combination of both.
Impeachable? nope, not when it takes the House of Representatives to initiate the proceedings (yeah, right) and the Senate to try the impeachment( are you kidding?).
Vote them out in November. A good start.

If Arizona is in violation (per the federal lawsuit) for ‘enforcing’ a mirror copy of the federal stature, why isn’t the ‘sanctuary cities’ that are BREAKING the law in violation and a lawsuit being filed against them? It makes the Delia-Bama intent crystal clear, eh?

Because most of the states that ALREADY have this law on the books, are not by the border, So it will not help their agenda to gain votes to keep their party in power, ( These Guys Are Desperate for Votes) BTW the Most Democratic State in America must be Racist LOL!!! Rhode Island Enforcement of Arizona’s Immigration Law By Aaron Cantor Thursday, July 8, 2010 Arizona’s new law is almost identical to federal immigration law. At issue however, is how it is enforced. The federal government says the state law is unconstitutional because it usurps federal authority to protect U.S. borders and American citizens. My question is why aren’t they doing it? In its lawsuit challenging the Arizona law, the Justice Department says its policy is to focus on dangerous immigrants: gang members, drug traffickers, threats to national security. Otherwise law-abiding immigrants without documentation should pretty much be left alone. Would it be too much to ask one of you Washington D.C. rocket scientists to explain how you can determine who is just the ordinary garden variety law-abiding illegal immigrant, and who comes under the heading of the other enumerated classifications above? The morons being led by Janet Napolitano at the Department of Homeland Security say the government couldn’t possibly find, arrest and deport everyone who is here illegally. Why not? If memory serves President Hoover ordered the deportation of ALL illegal aliens during the Great Depression so as to make jobs available for Americans, Harry Truman deported over 2 million illegal’s after WWll to create jobs for returning veterans, and again in 1954 Dwight D. Eisenhower deported 13 million Mexican Nationals: the program was called Operation Wetback. If they could do it then, we sure as hell should be able to do it today! What would be required, is for Napolitano to get off her FAT BUTT and do it! The federal government says treating 12 million illegal immigrants as criminals would overwhelm the system: NEWS FLASH THEY ARE CRIMINALS! A study in March by the liberal Center for American Progress estimated that deporting the entire illegal population and securing the border would cost $285 billion over 5 years. This is right out of the Saul Alinsky playbook (one of Obama’s heroes), take the country down by overwhelming the whole system, banking/financial, industrial/car makers, social security and pension plans, in other words put us so far into debt that we can never hope to pay our obligations or climb out of the financial hole he and his henchmen have put us in. I almost forgot, Rhode Island has been carrying out the procedures that are at issue in Arizona concerning immigration statutes for quite a while and doing quite nicely, thank you very much indeed.Obama says there is a federal preemption issue, if that is true then why haven’t he and Holder sued Rhode Island, and the Arizona law hasn’t even gone into effect yet?The Supreme Court in Muehler Vs Mena has already held that police do not need a reason (not probable cause, nor reasonable suspicion) to ask a person about their immigration status. Just this past February, in Estrada Vs Rhode Island, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit upheld the Rhode Island procedures, reasoning that, in Muehler Vs Mena, the Supreme Court “held that a police officer does not need independent reasonable suspicion to question an individual about his/her immigration status.” Andy McCarthy (a blogger on National Review on line) summed it up very well: “We have a Justice Department that drops a case it already won against New Black Panthers who are on tape intimidating voters in blatant violation of Federal Law, but that sues a sovereign state for enacting a statute in support of immigration enforcement practices that have already been upheld by two of the nations highest courts. PERFECT! http://canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/25127

My powder is dry....i am in the same place where the first shot against Taxation was fired...and by the Scott Brown win... i feel safe..................."Warwick holds claim to the first violent act against British rule when in 1772 local tax revolting patriots boarded the British ship Gaspee and destroyed it. In history this was known as The Gaspee Affair, the first bloodshed of the American Revolutionary War. Each year the Gaspee Day parade in Warwick is one of the state's most attended summer activities. For the ones who have not noticed the Revolution has already started.
Obama wants to fundamentally change this Great Country.
Greatest on Earth according to his thinking and he is gonna change it.
Revolution to change the Country is already started.
So when do we gather and start fighting back?
Do Not Make the Mistake of believing he will live up to what he says.
Watch What he Does, because he does not do what he says, he does what he wants.

"Obama wants to fundamentally change this Great Country."
Hope to God he does, but we have to get rid of the bat sh*t crazy republican congressmen who block everything that their corporate lords are against for any fundamental change to occur. The repubs nearly ruined this country and now want a chance to do it again. Their plan hasn't changed - block everything we voted for and try to re-write history. Do not forget - the bailouts, the wars, the debt, ALL REPUBLICAN. To think there are people foolish enough to put them back in power is insane, but it goes to show the power of the corporate media. Yes, corporate media - who do you thinks owns the networks? A bunch of hippies?
If people would educate themselves instead of getting their opinions handed to them by draft dodging drug addicts and failed entertainers there would be some real change. Apparently making an oil co. pay for the damage they cause is a "shakedown" and the unemployed are a bunch of drug addicts, according to the repubs.

The lawsuit against AZ won't be accepted in court if the Attorney General is remotely intelligent. This battle has already been done and won in NH. They've been requiring proof of citizenship or proper papers for years. They won in the court system.

Lincoln was a repub.
Did all right.
Reagan helped win the cold war.
Bush spent more on the education of Children than any President before him, but could not string
two words together himself.
Bush senior did a good job till hijacked by Ross Perot and Clinton.
I frankly would want Clinton back myself and this crap would not even be thought about.
But those Wars in Afghanistan and Iraq(not a good reason to go to war that I saw in Iraq) but in
Afghanistan , Obama says that is a war worth fighting, so 911 Thrust us into a posture of War.
The Debacle of the Finance kind, was brought about by failed policies of Sub Prime Lending.
I think most rational people would agree that the sub-prime mortgage thing was Social Engineering
Run Amoc.
So the Dems wanted this Mortgage thing that way and the wars were a Terrorist Concoction.
So where did the Repubs go so wrong in your book.
Cutting Taxes helped the Rich and the Poor as well.
Now with small businesses afraid to hire, and big business afraid of unstable Government
in Washington.
Dems at the Helm can do anything they want for two years(MAJORITY) and we are deeper in the hole than
ever so who is wrong , the ones in majority and a Dem President that can't lead.
So I guess George Bush is causing the grid lock once again.
Yea that's it.
But serouisly who can defend spread the wealth Mentality, you want to give all you
worked for away, I don't.

The Lawsuit is an attempt to bring the Latino Vote back to Obama.
Not about anything else.
But look for Texas and New Mexico and California to have one soon, a form of
legislation that mirrors Arizona.
The others have to or they will be overrun by Illegal Aliens.

There have been ample opportunities for BOTH major parties to have fixed the mortgage thing. It started under Carter. Been a couple of swings each way since then and none of them fixed it.
From what I see... the people who ar ein favor of spreading the wealth are the people who get it spread TO them. Them, and the people who are insanely rich, and feel guilty about it for not having worked all that hard for it. ie... people who inherited money, and entertainers, who for the most part, fall into thier money. I do not begrudge them their money either. The got it thru talent, but USUALLY not hard work, thus their willingness to allow it to be redistributed by the gov't. Trouble is... they want to redistribute mine too, that I work HARD for, and still don't have enough of to suit me.
I want a government that is A LOT slimmer. I really am interested in a government that is constitutionally based. ie... powers not SPECIFICALLY given to the Federal Government BY the CONSTITUTION shell remain in the jurisdiction of the states. That AIN'T what we got now. ANd we need to get back to it if we're gonna survive as a nation.

Reagan helped win the cold war.
By out-spending the USSR. Out-spending? You know what that means? Debt...big, friggin' debt. Which he offset by giving HUGE tax offsets to the rich. I was working those days - we had a saying, "If you think Reaganomics is working, as everyone who ISN'T!!!". I really have trouble with everyone praising Reagan - the USSR was bound to fail, on it's own, we just helped it along, while beginning the debt spiral. The Debacle of the Finance kind, was brought about by failed policies of Sub Prime Lending.
I think most rational people would agree that the sub-prime mortgage thing was Social Engineering
Run Amoc.
Yeah, but the "run amoc" was caused by the selling off the loans, by the debtors, at profits. It wasn't the sub-prime that was the major contributor, it was the banks that WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY, looking for sub-prime borrowers, then putting all the loans together, and selling them as a block, that caused the MAJORITY of the fiasco. Instead of all the banks having a small percentage of the loans, some major banks were straddled with a huge percentage of the loans. That was the beginning of the tumble. We'll never know if things would have been better, without the "bundling" of bad loans, driving certain banks under, but it was directly aided by the banks, when they got greedy, saw money out there, and jumped on it. It's really easy to blame the sub-prime, but at this point, there are MANY good, hardworking people, that have had good paying jobs, and houses they COULD afford, before the recession/depression, that are now unemployed, and losing their homes. You can't blame ALL the forfeitures, on sub-prime. The vast majority now, are because of the economy, NOT sub-prime... Cutting Taxes helped the Rich and the Poor as well.
Nope. Helped the rich. They just put it back in the stock market, to make more "invisible" money, and send our manufacturing out of country. Everyone says that the freebies for the rich, "creates jobs"...sure it does...In INDIA, CHINA, MEXICO, and OTHER COUNTRIES!!! NOT in America. Whirlpool just moved it's Indiana operations to Mexico. 300+ jobs lost. Good jobs. AMERICAN jobs! Hey, if we're going to send our money in wages to MEXICANS, WHY NOT AT LEAST BRING THE MEXICANS HERE, SO THEY CAN PAY TAXES ON THE MONEY OUR "RICH" PAY THEM, instead of us??? Dems at the Helm can do anything they want for two years(MAJORITY) and we are deeper in the hole than
ever so who is wrong , the ones in majority and a Dem President that can't lead.
Two years, to make up for the spiral, that began with Reagan? Clinton greatly reduced the deficit that was inherited by him. Took him 8 years, and the Pubs STILL said, that the recession was his fault! Not so. Then Shrub started a war, that has cost over a trillions dollars, under false pretenses, but no one bitches about that. The republican party has proven that they are a party of "NO!!". They have done NOTHING to try to advance the people of this country - just the opposite. They have stood as a roadblock at every outlet. Then say the Dems can do "whatever they want"?? Nothing if further from the truth. After years of not having a leader at the helm of Medicare, because of the Repubs stopping every possible choice. Even though President Bush made MANY recess appointments, all we hear is about the Obama recess appointments. But serouisly who can defend spread the wealth Mentality, you want to give all you
worked for away, I don't.
Big Al
Exactly the problem - it takes EVERYONE in this country, to at least have a minimum living, to be a prosperous country. If those of us MORE fortunate, aren't willing to give a little back, so that EVERYONE can have the minimums, then the US is doomed. It might be a while, but it WILL happen, that no one can afford YOUR services or products. Then, YOU can become unemployed, possibly losing everything. And, if the companies that send ALL their manufacturing, overseas, pretty soon that person making minimum wage in China, et al, will be the only one able to purchase the junk they are manufacturing. Thirty years ago, I bought American-made products that lasted 20 years. Today, I buy the same products, that are imported, that last a year or two. And, the American products are no longer available! We've sent our entire economy overseas, all for the almight buck. When we have NO MORE "BUCKS", we have no one to blame but ourselves... Glad I'm close to retirement, will be debt-free, and have a mattress stuffed with money and precious metals...oh yeah, add the precious metal parked in the garage - I get out on the Valk, and all the problems drift away..... our poor people are already rich. compared to the world. There WILL be poor people. If you raise the level of the poor, then inflation then raises the costs of everything, thus making the poor poor again, and making the middle and upper classes LESS rich. If the goal is equality, then we're gonna be equally mediocre, or equally poor. It's a reality. The biggest problem with our "poor" is that they are obese. I got no trouble helping someone out... for a while. But welfare as a WAY of LIFE ain't tight. And the BEST thing we could POSSIBLY do for our manufacturing industry in the US is go FairTax. www.fairtax.orgJabba

The problem STARTED when leftwing, liberal, bleeding heart's with spread the wealth mentalities began changing this Great Country. Put it back like you found it and if you and Obama want a different country.. get yourselves a 1 way ticket to another one and leave my U.S.A the hell ALONE !
Hmmm...and who made it YOUR country? It's OUR country, whether we agree or not. That's how it has ALWAYS been, since "we" stole it from the Native Americans. Maybe YOU should get the 1-way ticket? Sitting Bull would have been proud of you... Ah, put the country back how it was found? The 17th century?? No thanks, not in a 21st century world... R
