I have 108K on my 2001 Interstate and the front rotors are getting down close to minimum thickness.  Does anyone have any suggestions on some good used rotors or reasonably priced new ones?  According to Directline, new Honda front rotors are about $325-$330 each.  All comments or suggestions welcome.

Did a quick search, and came up with this thread...

GW front rotors have been used in place of Valk rotors by some on the board.  Like I said, it was a very quick search.  Maybe someone else can chime in.

I replaced my front rotors at about 59K with EBC brand.   Got 242K on it now and it shows very very little wear on the rotors.    I'm hard on front brakes.  That is where MOST of your stopping power comes from.

The above link is not exactly what I have, but it is a close 2nd.
I'd buy them and the EBC pads in a second if needed.   See actual rotor below.

Remember,

Stock rotors - Honda pads only
EBC rotors - EBC pads best, but other pads will work just fine.

EBC pads on Honda rotors, ya get a squeakin noise.

That's all I have to say about that.

I've been running the 1800 goldwing rotors on my 2000 I/S for some time now with no problems what so ever. I got them from HDL and they are about half the price of the valk rotors. This just got me thinking  I have goldwing rotors, goldwing alt., audiox cruise control for a car, and a darkside tire. I also run mobil 15W 50 syn car oil in the lady. I'm not sure if I still have a valk or not. Wink

More GL1800 rotors on a Valkyrie proof here.
Half the price, look better too!  cooldude
Use new Valk rotor-to-wheel bolts & Valk pads too. Do it before Honda catches on & jacks up the price of GW rotors. Undecided

Thanks Tropic Traveler.  I just received mine and now have to wait for it to stop raining so I can replace them, the pads, brake lines, and front bearings....

They look good on your red and white.
