I would think that Ice/Yuri (or as Smokin Joe refers to him...his "German Redneck friend") probably knows Russian.

There are a couple of them, RJ, but I don't trust their accuracy.

I have an email from a Russian member who can't understand my response as to what he needs to do to post on the board.

Carl, send it to me and let me play with it.
I'll attempt my old translation skills from the USMC.

Now this could be interesting!  Please let us know how this goes....especially if Willow gets an irate reply from a prospective Russian member demanding to know why he needs to submit photos of himself with pasties on his nipples as a requirement for registering.  Grin

That last post almost blinded me!  When I think of Russian women, I prefer Anna Kornikova...

I do not know Russian, or -only Poland

I'm betting that was supposed to be polish instead of only Poland? I wouldn't completely trust an online translator either, but they are a start. Pictures are the international language of the internet. Use lots of pictures in your response.

i have a buddy who is fluent in Russian,if your stuck i can ask him.

I have an amusing story about him,he is from eastern europe himself and now works as a police officer here in the UK,a couple of months ago he and another officer stopped some guys for a traffic offence, whist the cops were doing their paper work, the russian guys in the car started talking about their drug stash, they spoke openly to one another and described where the stash was in detail unaware that the "brittish" cop was fluent in 5 languages, they had 2 kilos of heroin in their house  Grin Grin

I love it when that happens. My cop buddies that know Spanish and Hmong here get the same reaction when they overhear a conversation that they aren't expected to know.
