Most people wear their pants in such a way that their "junk" is below the belt. Hense the term "no hitting below the belt" but I digress. How could that cop have known that this idiot walks around with his penis sticking out ABOVE the belt line. Id arrest him for that alone. it sure looked like something smaller than that when the cop was feeling it. LOL I bet the cop had to take a shower and have a strong drink and try to forget that "feeling"

The focus of my reply IS on the irony of the original post.
Exactly....but you didn't answer my question. Enuff said. You have your answer. That you don’t understand or agree with it is your problem.

Not to hijack this thread further, but you forgot to mention the 2002 Mean Streak, the 1962 BMW R5, my 2003 Silverado truck, my 2000 Honda riding lawn mower, and my 2001 Specialized Rockhopper mountain bike. I have no idea why you take a particular (and somewhat creepy) interest in my vehicles, but thought you should have a complete list.
See what I mean? He can't even answer a simple question like that!!LOLOL

And... again hows that 09 Road Glide working out for you?? IF you can't talk Valkyrie anymore, at least let us know your opinions and feedback on the other brand. Provide some motorcycle related contribution for us so new to the board and eager to learn Probies . OMG... finally, a recent motorcycle related post (somewhat ) I don't care about all your toys actually, just the posts about the motorcycle related ones... this is a motorcycle related message board after all..... but if you wanna brag about all of them, go ahead... I won't hold ya back, but I'm still not impressed. So if that was a complete list, as you stated, I didn't see a Valkyrie listed?? If so, that might explain the lack of Valkyrie related posts to a degree. Do you still have the Road Glide or were you just adding the ones I didn't mention? And in keeping with the subject matter to some degree..... if you were to travel by air and be subjected to the full body scans or searches, would you be found carrying a key fob with the Honda, HD, Kawasaki, BMW or Chevy logo? Or would it just be one of a legal/political/religious nature?

Just a thought. Go back to the old metal detectors. Put a pet POT BELLY PIG on each plane. Let it run loose. It would even give the kids something to keep them quiet. Think about it!!!!!!!

IMO the guy that suggested the Pot Belly breed pig being turned loose on an airplane seem to have put some thought into his idea. Pot Belly's are the perfect choice. Berkshire or Hampshires would be much too big to get down the isle.

I love visiting the United States. I've been to Sturgis twice, Inzane (VI in Colorado) once, and to many other US destinations between Washington, California, Texas, Florida, and Indiana on motorcyle and in cages of various types. I've flown to or through Denver, Houston, Miami, San Diego, Laughlin, Pittsburgh, and Atlanta.
Dear US Citizens,
In view of current TSA screening procedures in airports, I will certainly not allow my children to fly to or through a US airport until they are 18 years old and capable of maing their own decision about whether they feel it is worth it to be violated by naked body scanners or intimate groping. If this concerns you, please let your officials and governments know, as foreigners such as myself can only vote with my feet and pocketbook.
Sincerely, Gryphon Rider
I respect your opinions and choices. Since some of the folks we're scanning for have come into our country by flying into Canada, Nova Scotia, etc. first, I suppose you might be more of a target than others.................

Gee, everyone knows that Jews and Arabs hates pigs,'ve we been at war with em for the last 7 years. Get with the program. We all know that not just anybody can bring a pig onboard an airplane, this has to be a special pig. Most likely the pig would be a deputize Air Marshall.

Holy cow.... we have been at war with pigs for the last 7 years??? Shesh, how come this stuff doesn't make the local or national news like it should. All I heard tonight on the news was about some TSA full body scan and people getting their knickers in an uproar about having to get scanned in order to fly.

Keep the Hindus out of this, we have our hands full with the Arabs. These body scanner's may have their days numbered. With brother Glenn on the march. That blood sucking Soros should never have traded that 12000 shares. Glenn already exposed Soros as a Nazi. On the bright side OSI isn't building showers that electrocute service men or mixing crappy cement to the Gubm't. As far as war profiteering goes OSI is bush league.

One HUGE issue is that the TSA Agents themselves are inconsistent and many lack the professionalism to handle the resposibility of the pat down. Too many verified reports of inconsistent behavior and abuse by TSA Agents. And some images that were never supposed to have been saved were saved, and had to be released by the FOIA. This was the U.S. Marshalls, but it illustrates that the images CAN be stored, and sent digitally. You can quibble about right and wrong, 4th Ammendment issues, ad infinitum, until the agency tasked with carrying out these duties is doing it consistently and responsibly, and the administrators of said programs are honest, it's not worth it. I give it less than 3 months before changes ae made. Considerations are already being made for flight crews, I think Orlando is considering using a contract agency and giving TSA the boot. (Correct me if I'm wrong about the particular city..) I fly enough to have dealt with obnoxious overbearing TSA agents. They are usually the exception, not the rule, but until these new procedures came into play it was bearable. Now they are givien too much freedom to interprit their responsibility with no possibility by any offended party to really prosecute an abuser. In short, screw it. No where I need to go so bad that I can't drive or take a train... I've contacted my elected officials and voiced my concerns. And as far as keeping us safe, if you follow TSA's claims, nothing has been substantiated as far as what they have accomplished with the new procedures. And if you want to believe that Chertoff has had no profit from DHS purchasing these scanners, just follow the money and his support from the inception of the program..
Orlando-Sanford opted out of TSA and is using a private service which is doing quite well btw.

I've seen a few cute TSA women employees. I think I would rather enjoy being groped by those girls,...even if I'm not traveling. But that's just me.
You only get groped by a TSA person the same gender as yourself... Just sayin... That doesn't make it not a sexual assault - in these days of accepted gayness, there is no assurance the groper isn't getting a woodie squeezing your junk. I quit flying when the security stuff started up in the late 90's. Just happened to be when I was laid off as a Sr Engineer. After 9-11 and since, they've gone nuts stomping all over the dignity and now 14th Amendment rights of travelers. I won't fly for any reason now. My father died last month and we rented a car and drove to the Milwaukee area. Yeah I understand why they have to do what they are doing. Though I think it could be handled better. As for me - I simply won't tolerate such abuse. Fortunately I have that luxury. I no longer work in the high-tech industry where I might be needed quickly on the East or West coasts, as I used to be. If I was a terrorist, I would simply attack in an area and way they aren't looking. IOW, all these security steps they are doing is reactive, not proactive. The terrorists keep coming up with new attacks and the TSA & their ilk are still looking at the last attack method. Look at all the containerized cargo coming through our ports with little to no screening. What about all airlines are carrying cargo which is poorly screened if at all. What about a biological attack on water supplies. How about hacking into important computer infrastructure that controls things like our power grid - there's major economic damage as well as national security. How about dirty bombs, and the poor security surrounding fissionable material in Eastern Blok countries. What about all the underemployed ex-Soviet scientists and all the middle-eastern rogue countries with tons of money who want the scientist's knowledge? If I had a ton of money and the desire to hurt this country, I am confident I could do some serious damage. And if I could, how many others could? I'm afraid we are headed to an ugly world. FYI. Ben Franklin said "Those who would give up Essential Liberty to purchase a little Temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety." And now they have installed cameras in high-traffic areas in Denver for the police to watch us - like the British have done for years. A little late, but 1984 is here.

MarkT - I was definitely not trying to say it wasn't sexual assault, just saying it's probably NOT something you wanna look forward to... Personally, I think the airlines should start having two sets of flights... Full grope, body probe, full body x-ray scan for the uber paranoid, and simple metal detector checks for the not quite so paranoid, and let the free market decide which the people really want...

Hey, I mean is this a great country or what?
Is this a great forum or what?
We start with a complaint from a Canadian over U.S. "TSA screening procedures," and we have managed to interject sex (including gay rights), religion, politics, and Harley bashing. If we just had a little more race issues (beyond the Jewish/Arab/Hindu/Nazi issues already raised) and woman's rights issues (beyond the groping my daughter/wife issues already raised), this would be the all time perfect thread.
Let's work a little harder to make this the best thread ever. Think of ways to include the morbidly obese, criminals, and NRA members.

Someone e-mailed this to me. I like the idea. Any engineers out there with an inventive streak? Here's a solution to all the controversy over full-body scanners at the airports: All we need to do is develop a booth that you can step into that will not X-ray you, but will detonate any explosive device you may have hidden on or in your body. The explosion will be contained within the sealed booth. This would be a win-win for everyone. There would be none of this crap about racial profiling and the device would eliminate long and expensive trials. This is so simple that it's brilliant. I can see it now: you're in the airport terminal and you hear a muffled explosion. Shortly thereafter an announcement comes over the PA system, "Attention standby passengers, we now have a seat available on flight number..." The only thing I would add is an automatic wash, flush, and sterilize cycle so the booth could be reused in short order. Can't be holding up the other passengers, yanno

Brashly stolen from a Wonkette.com commenter lady: "That's the problem with Republicans - they don't know how to enjoy government benefits. Only a Democrat can truly appreciate a government funded hand job. In fact, I go to the airport for a thorough government groping at least three times a week, and I don't even have a plane ticket."

I like that idea.... but what about those dangerous nail clippers??? How will that device rid potential passengers of those? Actually we could probably let those pass I think.... and anyone caught with them onboard would have to give pedicures to the remaining passengers during flight. Simple. Make it Federal law that ALL nail clippers be made of explosive material. Problem solved!

I have heard our security is rougher than airports in other countries, maybe that is because we are the most targeted and with the most to loose. No one has to fly if they don't want to, I don't but that is because I don't believe we can keep people who want to die from doing it on an airplane if they want to and taking a bunch of other people with them.

CHRIST! Enough already... oops... There I go throwing religion into it again. As far as the original post...(Yes there was an Original Post that had "nothing" to do with most of what I've been reading)... It's too bad that the experiences that you have been subjected too with the "current" TSA has soured you from flying into the US and enjoying alot of what this country still has to offer... The way I see it... they are under a lot of scrutiny and are not handling things quite properly...I sure it will be revised over and over again. May work out in the wash... may get worse before better... For me... the few times that I do fly ... I guess I can put up with a bit of security to be safe.

Watching 'em feeling up the kids is an eye-opening thing.
What do those of you with teenage daughters think? Are they flying anytime soon?

I would gladly withstand being humiliated to put the rest of the passengers with me at ease. Maybe if we stopped bitching and started volunteering for safety, the daughters and mothers would have less to worry about INCLUDING intrusive 'pat downs'. I am not shy and if I can use that for the greater good,I WILL ! If you walked in an airport naked, asking for a full body scan I'll bet your kids would be ESCORTED on to the plane while security dealt with you!

I'd be all for it if it actually DID make us safer.

Sorry dude. I think we have done well to avoid catastrophic terrorist air traffic since 911. However sooner or later one will get through. They can pat me and my wife down and x ray us if it makes for a safer flight. Hate to see you have to use your feet.....and certainly we could use your money.....but safety has to come first. I rest easier knowing the flight my wife and grandkids are on is safer. If you got nothing to hide getting patted down is not too high a price to pay. JMO. I'm for security, we all want to fly and land in one piece. however what we are witnessing is nothing short of "security theater" (I heard this term on sixty minutes) its all a show to make us feel as if we are safe. patting down nuns and three year olds will not make us any safer then we are right now. there is no consistency either I read a story of a 20 something young man that recieved a pocket knife from his uncle he put it in his carry on and forgot about it. the knife was with him for an additional 5 flights before it was confiscated in JFK. the terrorists wont try shoe bombs again, because we look at peoples shoes, they probably wont try under wear bombs again because of the pat downs and scanners. don't you think we should try to find a better way, instead of using a shotgun use a sniper rifle. zero in on the right people by using a series of security measures like those used in Isreal. we need to disband the TSA and put private security in place funded by the airlines, tell them they have the ball DON'T DROP IT.
