House of Representatives have already passed the DREAM bill. Not it is up to the Senate to pass, stop, or modify the bill. Another way for us to "welcome" the illegals.

Interesting...  ...that the words "race car" spelled backward still spells "race car"? ...that "eat" is the only word that, if you take the 1st letter and move it to the last, it spells its past tense, "ate"? And have you noticed that if you rearrange the letters in "illegal immigrants," and add just a few more letters, it spells: "Go home you free-loading, benefit-grabbing, resource-sucking, baby-making, violent, non-English-speaking assholes and take those other hairy-faced, sandal-wearing, bomb-making, camel-riding, goat-loving, raggedy-ass bastards with you." How weird is that???* |

Hmmm....I'd think that if you believe in the philosophies of N. Korea, China, Cuba, Afghanistan, et al, they'd LOVE to have you there!! Especially the Al Queda - they are ALWAYS looking for people to indoctrinate in the philosophy of "hate"....
Of course, at least so far, we AMERICANS treat people like people, FIRST, THEN we prosecute. Nothing is perfect, but I'd STILL prefer to live here, than the countries you are singing the praises of...

That has NOTHING to do with the OP. If you think other country's treatment of "foreigners" is correct in any way, then it sounds like your kind of country! Other than Running Buck Eaglefeather, few can claim a 100% "honest" claim to citizenship. Whether your relatives "stole" their way into this country, or were granted "legality" from those that did, we are virtually all immigrants, or descendents of same.
They come here because this is one of the best countries in the world, the same reason your and my ancestors did...
And .I wouldn't want it any other way. If we have to LOWER ourselves to the level of the fore-mentioned countries, we are no better than them.

The original "OP" was making light of our immigration policy and the requirements for getting "free stuff" upon entering the country illegally. "They come here because this is one of the best countries in the world, the same reason your and my ancestors did..." I agree 100%. Well, my family tree has a lot of American Indian in it, it also has Dutch, Irish, and Scotch. The key word in this whole thing is "illegal". Their treatment of "foreigners" isn't correct, but ours is sure isn't either. Hay Jimmyt |
