Yes.

2001 - 2003   Zaneville, Ohio (hence the name.
2004 - 2005   Paducah, Kentucky
2006              Frisco, Colorado
2007 - 2008  Johnson City, Tennessee
2009              Frisco, Colorado
2010 - 2011   Bellaire, Michigan
2012              ???

Thanks for that  cooldude Many have argued with me over how many times IZ was in Johnson City.

2007 -2008 InZane ...Johnson City,Tennessee....2006 Dragons Over The Smokies Johnson City , Tennessee<----A huge turn-out that was held at what would become ground zero for the next two years of InZane some folk's called it DOTS.

If that was for my benefit, I appreciate the thought but I attended all three of those events.  Smiley Where I met some of the finest folks I've ever had the pleasure of knowing  cooldude

Okay, on the left is Murdoc, Ratdog, Christian Ray aka Dragbars, and clear over on the right side is BigBf.

If not, then who the hell are they.

On the drag Machine, the dark haired wig between the lady and Lamont is Vicki.

Okay, the lady next to you is Sue, if you look up and over to the left there is a black wig, that is Vicki.........

Here's a few more.

This is ValkRocket originally from New England, he won the raffle for the Valkyrie Standard at IZ-1 even though he already had one. I think he borrowed a trailer from Oz or something to get it home.

This second one is a "Trigger Wheel" tech session. The idea was to run classes as to how to do these mods.

This guy is with his son, great folks but I can't remember their names.

Dang you all looked "Young" in some of those pictures!!   2funny 2funny  I was looking at some and thought "Whoa, that doesn't even look like the same guy".  Sorry couldn't resist.

I was a late bloomer ????  or rather a young bloomer?? not sure how that would work out...  But, I did come around here when I bought my first street bike in 2006.  1999 Valk I/S "Fast Black" (as they say Smiley )   Bought it w/ 18k miles on it and I can say I will never part with it.   This club is amazing top to bottom.  Not sure how it has changed but if the first InZane was better than the 2009 in Frisco.  I would have to say, WOW.  There wasn't a dry eye in the closing ceremonies at Frisco in 2009.   The generosity of this club that I witnessed for the first time was truly unbelievable.  That was my first InZane and I was just going to say I went.  Now I schedule my vacation time around InZane.  My wife is figuring this stuff out still...

For those questioning this club.  I have met some of my very best friends in life here.  They may be older in age but young in spirit and overflowing with love from their hearts.  Heck, one of my good friends (probably doesn't want his name to be listed due to him being very humble...) Spent 850 bucks on McCruise control for me to pay him back when we installed it and I never had met him yet.  Or opening my home to strangers rolling through for InZane last year.  (wife thought I was nuts, but after wards she embraced the memories.)

I have done my fair share of helping others but you guys need to remember.  My generation more than any are very "self gratifying".  They don't live like most of you.  I see men in their 40's, (older than me Smiley ), and there teenage boys and his wife, sitting at Perkin's waiting for a seat to eat on a sunday.  While folks in their 80's are standing.   My wife and I got up and told them to sit.  Then more came in and did that family get up? NOPE!  So I as respectfully as I could muster up.  Asked if they would kindly stand up for our older generation.  The teenage kids looked at me like nope not moving.. I looked at the father and said.. "If that was your mother would you still sit and watch her stand?".  He then got up.   This is what today's world is dealing with.... We are all part of this society and some of the 40 year men that wouldn't stand up are part of this club.  Doesn't mean that they are bad or not generous.  It just means that we need to live by example and invite those that don't know or see how to be generous and live it out.  Encourage others to do the same.  I was raised that way and I am raising an 8 yr old.  I have learned it is hard to ask of someone else to act or do something and we are poor examples of it ourselves.

So long story short....  For those who think this club has changed in a negative way.... Then I would challenge you to show the club a good example and don't puff out your chest when you do it.  And for those who have been sitting on the sidelines and @ @  watching.  I challenge you to be more of an encourager yourself and assist where you can and help where you can.  It is contagious...  Next years InZane can and should be better than those in the past.  I love this group and this bike.

God's grace be upon all of you and have a Merry Christmas.

A couple more from Inzane 1

Lamont's first bike. That's Dennis and Tammy from Blythe in the background

Oz of course, Sue in the back ground, maybe Princess directly behind.

Tigger and Brutus. Man, Tigger had the red Valk with the split gas tank. He put some kinda lopey cam in it and truck stacks with the piggies drilled out or something. That thing sounded awesome!

Dunno whose purple but I think the green dragon belonged to someone in ALA or LA

Dennis from Blythe, not sure, Sue, not-quite-Murdoc..lol

SteveL...the only one I recognize in the second pic is Big Bill from Michigan. That third pic was V-man with his wife..they were from New England...maybe Vermont. I remember he had chrome kick-plates on the front of his bags. Smiley

RJ, I think you got Ratdog and Big BF right, at least. Not the other two tho. Dragbars was skinnier than that.

What ever happened to those guys? Mosa, Dragbars, etc. The Mad Serb makes his appearance here and there. I miss his stories with the ladies!

sue sounds familiar but cant place her.  Undecided

I don't like to argue Faith, but the one with glasses is DRAGBARS....  I had just walked away from there and was over on the other side of BigBF.  The 3rd gent I do not recognize.

Chili yeah, V-Man is from Maine. I think he rides a Boss Hoss these days. Someone was lucky and picked up his Valkyrie after her super-charged it. Sometimes power is an addiction and you never have enough.

That pic of Lamonsters bike brought me back. That was one fine looking scoot, and I'm not all that keen on yellow.

They occasionally pop up on the Big Bike Riders board. Most have moved on to other bikes.

Yeh, SteveL. I remember she bought him the blower kit for Christmas or something. What a woman! I remember when he got the boss, too.

There's not much info on the InZane page yet; dates and location... enough for planning though.

Sure hope ya didn't hurt the steps.    Too cold to have to go out and fix them.

Take care Stude31, you is not as young as ya used to be.
Trust me on that..

What was it, 15 staples in the noodle 2 years ago from a fall the ice, last year tried to peel the skin off of a finger I caught in the fence when I fell, this year I said screw it, I'm staying in the house....

I kind of wish I'd of broken the finger as cold sure do make dat laddie smart now.  At the time the Dr. told me it wouldn't heal like it should and probably bother me in later years.    When he said later I thought he was referrin to when I was UNDER the grass, not on top of it.

[Dragon's Lair I do believe.

Actually, it was called Valkyries' Lair.  However, it was just a website, not a club.  But it did, in fact, predate the VOA, as well as F6Rider.

The Valkyries' Lair, appearing September 1, 1996, was the first internet site dedicated to the Honda Valkyrie. Craig Buhl ran the site, which contained the tagline, "For those who Ride the Dragon."

History of websites: Valkyries' Lair, F6Rider, Bob's F6 Valkyrie Page, VOA, VRCC
History of Clubs: GWRRA-ValkSIG, VOA, VRCC

Lamont's first bike. That's Dennis and Tammy from Blythe in the background

In the background next to Dennis, is their daughter Caroline, who is now married and expected Dennis and Tammy's first grandchild... crud, now we feel old, huh?

Quote
Dennis from Blythe, not sure, Sue, not-quite-Murdoc..lol

The guy between Dennis and Sue went by the handle Red Dragon.  His Valk and trailer were painted deep red, with a dragon theme throughout.
