Rode again today. It was 28 degrees when I left the house this morning. Made getting into work not so bad. It was 61 degrees when I left work. It made a 20 minute ride into 2 hours. I just tell my wife traffic was at a stand still. Man I love it I have to take the long way home! Grin

Work & back, work & back, work & back... in the 60's today, took the liner out of my jacket & stashed the wires for the lectrics. Did a few extra miles on the way home, and that throttle hand is definitely getting frisky

I rode in this morning...4 for 4 this week.  I'm off tomorrow and the weather is looking GREAT.  So I'm taking a little ride up to Selinsgrove, PA (about an hour north of Harrisburg...and 250+ miles from me) to see the dirt small-block modifieds run their opener.  I'm meeting  couple friends from Easton and Allentown, PA there that I used to hang out with when I lived out that way about 10 years ago.  I booked a cheap room at Motel6 in Carlisle ($35...how can you beat that??) and will head home Saturday.  Should be a nice ride.  cooldude

Quite the morning today. I've been riding the Tourer and I ran out of gas 4 miles after leaving the hosue. Darn good thing it was a slight downhill and Bert runs on 2 cylinders for about a half mile if I do "the big weave~~~~~"

I made it rolling right up to the pumps of a gas station so no foot leather was lost. I gotta keep a better eye on that small tank..

Other then that, another good day riding to the salt mine.

LOL, Raymond.  It doesn't count if you don't have to push it or retrieve fuel in a can.  I'll bet it did make for a tense few moments.

I couldn't keep the visor clear this morning so I had to ride almost all the way in with it opened.  The moisture didn't seem to collect, though, on my glasses.

Brought a can of Plexus inside with me so I should be better off if it's still foggy when I go home.   Roll Eyes

rode to work, it was a great ride but got a call at 1pm from Bonnie that I had to rush home get in the car and ride to Oneonta to pick up my daughter Stacy
She hasnt been able to hold down food for a week now and we made a GI appointment for her for tomorrow here at home  Damn insurance with their pre approval and other BS  she couldnt get seen at school for another month and that is not acceptable for my child or anyones child

6 hours round trip and now she is home resting and I am calming down

Gonna ride tomorrow its good for my nerves

Ya, good for the nerves...

I rode 2-up to and from work today!  The wife and I rode to the dinner meeting of the Houston VRCC and she rode to and from work with me today.  I guess it helps that we work at the same place.  But we don't car/bike pool very often due to me being in IT..  Smiley

Good to hear that your daughter is home and you can relax now.

OK, OK... I'll admit, I did drive the truck & trailer wednesday  Roll Eyes but it wasn't to work! Daughter's day to compete at the Houston Livestock Show and she did a great job. It was good to enjoy the day with her.  cooldude  Since they took my oversized parking spot away  Undecided due to lack of use... I'll continue to do my part in helping with "green space" by riding in and taking up less parking space  2funny

Rode into work today in the low 40's. Thought I would freeze before arriving but it was worth it for an afternoon of 70 degree riding afterwards. Met another VRCC member and talked Valkyries with him for a while, then picked up my better half for some two-up riding.
Today was a good day. Smiley

Had a great ride to and from work today.  Kind of windy, but 70 degrees on the way home.
Tomorrow is forcast for snow between 6 and 14 inches!  I have the Valk back in the chock and the tractor (such as it is)  Cheesy ready with the blade installed.

The weather has been really goofy around here.  This picture was made about 48 hours after another really nice ride to work day!  ???

I rode Mama's bike in today, but I had some second thoughts along the way.  There was refrozen runoff in several spots, and the bridge over the Kansas River appeared to have a thin coating of ice on it.

We arrived, though, without incident and it should be a fine ride home.  The sun is shining and we're headed for sixty degrees.

I had the same type of ride this morning myself Willow. The cages were dropping water that had melted on every corner and it was froze back up. It made for a fun ride but no problems. The 67 degrees on the ride home was the reason I rode in the sub prime conditions this morning.

After yesterday's rain today was a bit cool and it never really warmed up the way that I thought it should but not a bad day to ride to work and not a bad day to be at work . Love the Spring.

Similarly this is the first Tuesday this week that I've ridden in today.

Temperatures were some six degrees warmer than the first Monday that I rode to work this week.  Good ride.  Still a lot of moisture on the road, much of which found its way onto the bike and her rider.

This morning was an unexpected 30 degrees. Cool. Crisp. Feels like rain still. I was spoiled by the 70 degrees of spring the other day. brrr. Oh well. It is going to be 60 next time I hop on the bike to head to the next location this afternoon. So from lunch on should be nice.
