Well, the radar had a HUGE mass of green, yellow and red just west of here.  So, even though it wasn't raining when I left this morning, I did take the jeep.  Sad

I haven't ridden in two weeks, but my shocks are on the way back from Progressive and my starter in transit from Pinwall...

New front tire, front brake pads and miscellaneous other stuff this weekend...

You poor guy, I'll bet you're cranky as all get out by now!  Evil  Evil

Just so you know, our rides have been almost as fun as the first time we all threw a leg over a Valkyire!

Made 5 for 5, but today will be using 4 wheels, Lots of red & yellow on the radar, was really looking forward to the ride out to Springfield, but soggy saxes sound sad, if they sound at all. Glad we're all getting back & forth safely!

OK, I lied, & rode anyway with the sax in a trash bag. Poured out to Worcester (Wistah), then dry until I arrived at the Big E fairgrounds, where it proceeded to downpour. Removing the leathers while still keeping the Frogg Toggs jacket on was tricky, but I manged. Unpacking the sax inside the bag wasn't half as bad, and then the  rain let up. I had time for a lobster roll & piece of blueberry pie before the rest of the band (& the rain ponchos) arrived. There were two bands, we marched/walked/sauntered through the fairgrounds for 30 - 40 minutes, just occasional drizzle. It was getting dark and the rain started up again when I was leaving  and lasted about halfway home. Worst thing was the initial fogging up of the glasses that took a while to clear up. I ended up taking a road south because I didn't want to have to negotiate 3/4 of the way around a rotary filled with very aggressive SUVs to go north. Six for six!

The rain was coming down pretty good at 5 AM. What the heck, rain let up a bit at 6 so it was time to suit up and head out. Rain was heading northeast and I was going the other way. Was able to dry out by the time I got to work. Made my morning!  Wink

I rode to work yesterday...even got to do some riding on the company...about 80 miles or so...and even though it was a little chilly in the morning, you still can't beat that!!

And I rode to work today...windy and chilly again...but hey, I'm on 2 wheels!  That's 3 for 3 this week and will probably ride tomorrow.  I'm off Friday, so I'll be batting a thousand if the weather holds out!   cooldude

40 Degrees this morning... Wasn't supposed to rain, but I guess the weatherman doesn't have to be right... Started pouring halfway to work, so much for a warm afternoon ride!

I didn't have time to mount the new front rubber last week. (It didn't arrive until Tuesday, then finally installed Friday afternoon) so I was in the Hearse all of last week.
This morning I got up and hopped on the bike early. I needed to do a few things at work before the day started. So here I am. O'dark thirty still outside and I made it to work.
Took a little longer way in the dark this morning than usual, but I mad it earlier than expected.
Bring on the day.

I'm here, Raymond.  It actually was warmer this morning with the cloud cover, it only dropped off to about 55 degrees last night...and headed for a high of...55 degrees.  Looks like it might be a colder ride home this evening.

Getting colder, 43 this morning. I hope the winter doesn't try to be like last years winter. I'm ready to move south. Any room down by the Texas coast for a few more bikes to hole up?

I am stiting at work now looking outside at the cloud spit.
In a little bit I'll have to go from this building to another and make some copies. Then I'll end up running around a minute before heading to an early supper and to my evening job. Just another fun day in the rain.

Yesterday was a cloud seated on the area, today is just the tail end of that moisture. The temps are still low (we're nearing the record lows in this area for this time of year). This morning it was 47 degrees, but not raining. That wouldn't have been too bad if I had had on dryer gloves.
Oh well.
I should enjoy it while it lasts.
Damp cold butt wasn't any fun, and my hands weren't exactly happy, but I rode on.

OK all it's Friday. Coolest day so far but the warmup is coming today. 40 tis morning and going to 61 this afternoon. The sun is supposed to shine after being gone for about a week.

I rode RHonda's Tourer today for her   Cheesy   , that's a fun riding Valk, I likes it. I'm not sure it she still calls her bike Bert, he had his nutz removed last spring so who knows now..

Yeah, I rode home on dry roads yesterday and it was a treat.  Tuesday I rode in through light mist and got in just under the real rain.  Wednesday evening I rode home in alternating steady drizzle and light rain.  Fortunately it had warmed up to 47 during the day so it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Today I'm at home so there's no commute for me.  I'm glad it's going to finally warm up.

As to Bertie, I've always heard that you shouldn't castrate your pets because it causes them to get fat and slow.   Wink  I've been on that bike and she is definitely a fun ride.  Cheesy
