when i was 12 a teacher told me to "act my age".  i still don't know what that really means 'cause everyone tells me you're only as old as feel!!   Grin

Just rolled up on 46 end of May, got my FatLady when I was 40.

Got the other special lady in my life when I was a still wet behind the ears 19y/o punk and I am holding onto both of my beautiful Ladies as long as I am physically able to hang on and ride them hard or until they buck me off and wont play with me any more.

For those that are slower than me in the math department been married 27 years come this September.

They did.  Made 3 As and a B.  I've got 3.73 overall GPA so far.  Celebrated my Bday by taking the first exam in a summer term night class.

Happy (belated) Birthday, Marty!  cooldude

As far as mine, I was going to say that I just turned 56 a few weeks ago. Having said that, I now suspect that my birth certificate is an elaborate forgery.

Has to be! I have to run it past some experts and Snopes et al, because I sure don't feel that old. Wouldn't put it past the Feds, either, to have installed trick mirrors in my house - the old fart in the mirror looks nothing like me. Bastards...

I was 81 when I sold the Valk, don't qualify anymore except I'm still in the wind at 83 on my VStrom.
Started riding in 1948 on a 1946 Matchless thumper.  I didn't vote, evidently over 60 is considered too old to include. Grin Grin Grin

Forgot to vote. Done.  Angry

A thought, YoungPup, Sir (I call you Sir since you're 6 years older than my internal age): you should add a category, like the one you have (...made out of stone...) - "my birth certificate is a forgery".

Judging by some other threads herein, that would be an ice-breaker...  Evil

Darn! Looks like I'm older than most folks around here at 68!

Bought my '98 Standard fresh out of the crate in August, 2000.

Been married to my current wife, Cyndy, who just turned 48 last Sunday, for 23 years. cooldude

I don't get a chance to ride much due to working all the darn time but it's my favorite toy.

Have been rding since I was 17 (Wow 40 years)

But after a long ride, I sometimes feel much older.
But as long as I'm riding I feel like a kid again!

I have not tried, but can you get handicap plates for a motorcycle in Illinois.
I have to make a mount for my cane. 64 years( old) young and still ride. I have rheumatoid arthritis. I will ride as long as I am able to. I have been on bikes for about 50 years or so. My ex once told me to sell my bike as we needed the money. I told her that she would be gone before the bike will.
As I said EX. got a divorce, best 250,000 I ever spent, Sold my wing after I bought a Valk.
Got remarried later and my wife loves to ride.

55 this July. Old enough to know how to do some stuff really well that I can no longer do.
I've always been half fish. Being able to swim the length of an Olympic swimming pool three times on one breath earned me several cases of beer back in college. I just NEVER got tired in the water.
I went swimming in a little bitty hole a couple of weeks ago, and was wheezing like an old locomotive trying to get across on the surface one time. Had muscles hurting I didn't remember I had.

I'm 55 - bought the I/S new in 2000, when I was a lot younger!  But when I ride, it doesn't seem like I've had it that long - it always feels like a new bike to me. cooldude

Been riding for 40 years (that CL70 was my first and I also bought it new - so my first and last bikes were new, the rest used).

I've solved the cane problem - got one that folds up into four sections at Wally World a year ago and never looked back. Fits very nicely in the Tourer hard bags just folded in half.

Turn 65 in a few weeks, been riding bikes since '69.  I have a few joints that act like I am in my 80's first thing in the morning.

Got my Valk in '08, only put 30k on her since then.  I will try to do better in the years to come.

You really "Old" guys on this forum is what keeps me thinking I can be riding thru my 70's maybe even into my 80's.

I've never understood people bragging about their young age or pretending some superiority to their seniors.  Youth is not an accomplishment.  It's automatic.  Growing older requires at least something.

I'm 60, and probably a high mileage 60 at that.  I used to brag that there was nothing I'd do differently if I had it all to do over again.  I don't say that anymore.  Honestly, now and again, I would like to to it all over again.
