My Mom passed away last night  . She had Alzheimer's and I think she just got tired. She wanted to be with my Dad, who passed away twenty-two years ago today and my younger brother, who died two years ago this coming August 7th. To top it all off, I had to take my wife to the hospital Sunday evening and she was admitted for a flare-up of diverticulitis (fortunately it is mild and she will probably be discharged today). Any good thoughts or prayers you could direct our way would be greatly appreciated. |

Prayers from FL...Even though you expected her passing, you cannot pe prepared for the emptiness thats left when a Mother dies. You sound like a family of faith, but it still hurts

Bama Red, I'm not religious in a 'praying' sort of way, but my thoughts are truly with both of you. I'm 58 and lost my mother to a brain aneurism when she was 49. Treasure always the time you had with her and especially her golden years. When she appears in your thoughts as a vital, younger woman, you've started the mending process. Peace.

Prayers coming to all of you from Mid-Michigan. My Mom has Alzheimers, stage 4 to 5. Its a sad thing to watch happen to a loved one. But I know what you mean, my Mom is getting to the tired stage and I'm aware of whats to come. Take Care.
