Hey all,
I saw this post on CL:
http://houston.craigslist.org/mcy/709297154.html
Anyone here?
I scoured the internet and saw NOWHERE else about boring out a valkyrie motor to 2000cc's.  Has anyone heard/seen this?  How much would such a thing cost vs. power gains?  Plus, getting it to run properly afterwards...
Seems to make sense...but Motorcycle engines tend to have such closer tolerances than say a chevy v-8 that I don't know if I believe it...

I couldn't find anything either, but you can bore a 883 Sportster to 1200cc.
I don't see why it couldn't be done as long as the cooling jets are not in the way.
Then rejet the carbs to give her more gas.
