So many colors to choose from yet so few stand out

Folks,
I'm looking for a little guidance or help, however you want to look at it.  I'm trying to take my 02 Standard into the solo rider world.  I've already done a couple of things toward my goal (Interstate tank and I/S Ultimate Low Boy seat) but, I'm looking for the right luggage rack to mount where the passenger seat was meant to be.  I've looked at pictures of quite a few of them on this forum and I have to say there are some really nice bikes out there.  But, I want a rack that is flatter than what I'm seeing.  Most seem to try and match the curvature of the rear fender, that is not my intent.  I want a flatter rack that extends to just short of the tail light but not beyond.  I also would like to put a back rest on that same luggage rack.  I thought about just modifying and moving my current luggage rack forward but, it wouldn't cover the area sufficently to satisify my goal.

I really like some of the bikes shown here, hopefully those owners don't mind me using the images.  Hoser's bike has a lot of the attributes I'm looking for but, my goal is somewhat different.

It could just the the angle of the picture but, that luggage rack appears to be flatter.
Let me first say that I think the following bikes are very well done and beautiful.
Here are a couple of pictures of Highbinders bike showing that curve I'm talking about:

Similar curvature.

Having gone through numerous threads, there are scores of well done Vaikyries out there.  Indivualizing a bike to the owners specific desires does not always meet the desires of everyone else out there but, I'd greatly appreciate any guidance on where I could find a luggage rack as I've described to meet my goals.  Or, do I just need to build my own and then have it chromed?  Thanks for any feedback.

Better to be judged by 12, then carried by 6.

You might have a local weld shop make you one to your specs then have it chromed, if you wish. My HD bud made a flat rack to replace the tour pak when he is traveling solo. Its like 2' x 3'.

This one is flatter than the Showchrome and was once made by Rivco. Does not hit your intended length to brake light, nor does it incorporate a backrest but does give you an idea of the flat version.

The backrest being for upright luggage support or for you, the driver? I have on occasion put on the passenger backrest/sissybar to accommodate an upright travel pack along with the use of the rear luggage rack for storage.

Either way, good luck and be sure to post what you finally come up with.

I do not know, but Custom World International in Quebec did make some flat SOLO RACKS. (Put one on an 1100 Yami).  Spendy.

I do not like their website, so did not look.   http://www.cw-intl.com/

My good friend, go to the XF6 site.    See what he has.  I got a degree tree from hiim that was top quality and arrived long before I expected it.

If Daryl doesn't have it, eBay or our 'for sale' website will be your best bet.

Really?  I browsed around on the internet site and didn't see any.  Will have to get one of those catalogs.  Thanks.
