Words are completely inadequate at a time like this.

The VRCC is indeed a "Family" and you should feel free to lean on us anytime.

John,

Prayers to your daughter and your family to stay strong and may God's grace be sufficient in these times.

I am going through a similar situation with my uncle (dad's brother).  He has full blown cancer and refuses treatment and is just enjoying every minute he has left.  It is sad to watch a body fade away but as my Uncle Jim told me and it fits for you and your daughter.  He said... "Joey, I know my body looks terrible and it's only going to get worse but know that behind this body is your Uncle Jimmy.  The one that took you fishing and played with you out in the yard.  I am still the same person just the body is changing."   It sucks to watch a loved one hurt and fade but know that in Christ we will live eternally.  God is good and this life is temperal.  Enjoy every memory and moment...

Stay strong my friend.

Joe.

John, My heart goes out to you both.  She is a lovely lady.  I lost a friend and coworker to almost identical circumstances last year.  I will keep you both in my prayers.

John, I hate to hear this. I remember well when Tracy passed six years ago.  Will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers. Wishing the best for all your girls.
