Does anyone have a picture that they can post of a dunlop 404 130/90/17 mounted on the bike?  I'm thinking about putting one up front.  also, is there any problems encountered with this setup?  Thanks alot for the pictures, and the answers.

I've been using the D404 150/80/17 since I bought my Valk. Not what you asked for I know.

I feel the whole deal about bias-ply tires on the front is related to trying to get more miles out of a tire, knowing that rear specific tires have more tread depth in design when compared to front specific tires.

Therefore when looking at rear tires for front application on the Valkyrie, the variety is very limited and matching the size to the standard OEM tire size is not going to happen.

As a result, settling for a different sized tire is what is going to have to occur if the wish remains to install a rear specific tire on the front of a Valkyrie.

I think there are more 17" tires in bias-ply available when compared to radial-ply tires.

remember the Orginial dunlop front tire from the factory is no longer made and the dunlop replacement is not the same OD as the org.

These work good for me, front is the same as stock, rear is just a tiny bit shorter,American eagle 180/65/16.  Dunnys, both bias,  d404F 150/80/17.  20,000 miles or there about on a set.  Made to replace the ones for a sceaming eagle Ultra, without the harley davidson on the sidewall.  Same tire, about a hunnert bux cheaper.  cooldude hoser
