Just trying to get the last word in! Sorry, doesn't work like that! No it doesn't. Hay Jimmyt At all. Thank you Mr. Willow. You're welcome, Mr. Bullard. And why not? Well, mainly because Willow says... Yea, I'm sucking up. Hay Jimmyt He's right, of course. Hehe. Hay Jimmyt Hay, That sure is a bunch of quotes! Your turn RJ. It was and now is even more. Is that like the Raven Never More? IS THIS SOME KIND OF DIABOLICAL SCHEME TO GET THE LAST WORD IN? BY INSERTING SUCH WORD IN A QUOTE? I'M ON TO YOU GUYS. Word. Hay Jimmyt So? Is that all we've got? Willow, are you teasing us? Have a great day in the snow. We are to get it tonight sometime. They keep moving it back, was supposed to be here now, but no such luck. They could wait until the weekend. Then I could get my son on the tractor snow blower. He loves to play on it. LOL....... Looks like the heaviest of it is staying south of you for now, but you'll see some of it within the next few hours. Southern Missouri is under ice and northern Missouri is being blanketed by snow. I'm ready for SPRING, NO MORE snow please. I saw a Robin yesterday! If I saw one today it would really stand out against the white backdrop. I am also. R J. Our ground is starting to turn white....... Neighbor has several bird houses in her back yard. I don't know how I happened to notice it but there was a Robin kicking a sparrows butt for getting into her house. Poor ole sparrow he flew away, and he looked like he had had a good old Southern A$$ kickin. I can see the bird house from my office and he hasn't came back. It happened about a 1/2 hour ago.

They were going after it at the entrance to the bird house, and all of a sudden hit the ground, laid there for a few seconds, stood up and the Robin hit him again. That time he took off with the Robin right on his tail. They went behind the neighbor's garage and ain't seen hide nor hair of either one since. We got about 2" as of now and it is starting to snow heavier flakes. The road webcams sure do look treacherous. the daughter she works in Ames, about 40 miles North of here and told her the road looked bad, she said Dad, there are 3 of us from Des Moines Area, and we all the the same route home together, I said oh, then she said we use the 2 lane highway that runs parallel to the I/S.

She said they only had about an 1" on the ground at work and maybe 1 1/2" when she got home. I just went out and stuck a ruler in it. It measures 2 1/4", and the snow is very very light. I'm wondering now when the big gob is supposed to hit us. Cheers.

I'm wondering now when the big gob is supposed to hit us. Cheers. Good to hear, R J. Looks like the bulk of it will miss you. The heaviest band is still an hour away. Yes, Jimmy, I do. Well hunker down and throw another log on the fire. You're going to be in it for quite a while now. Isn't technology grand? I hope you are right Carl, I went out to the garage to fire up the Snow Thrower and found the belt laying on the floor. Have to have the wife look at it in the morning. I can't get back up without HELP if I lay on the floor, or have something strong enough to hold while I paw my way up it. She is a farm girl and is not afraid to get her hands greasy. I'll fire up the turbo burner and in less than 10 minutes the garqge will be a nice toasty 50*. It looks like it just came off the pully on the engine. It has done that a couple of other times. NO big problem to fix. LOL.

Yeah, my snow thrower gave out too, R J. I still had my belt in place but just didn't have any fuel left in the tank. My grandgirl (4 YO) wanted to help out. At one point I turned around to see her shoveling snow off the pile I had thrown it on to the driveway from which it had been cleared. Maybe tomorrow the sun will shine enough to help out.

She had her little lawn mower, plastic thing. I got off the tractor, it shut off, no one in the seat, I moved the limb to the burn pile. Went back to the tractor, looked back and she was right behind me, by the time I got it in gear and letting the clutch out, she had laid down and stuck her hand into the blade. I heard a holler and shut everything down. She lost close to a 1/2" off of her ring finger. After that, I made a rule, NO LITTLE kids outside if anyone was using the lawn mower, the snow thrower, and or the chain saw. Then I added if grandpa tells you to go to the house, he means NOW, not 5 minutes from now. Mean ole Grandpa. Had the Chevy Trike out one day and one of the younger grandkids, holler and said Grandpa has a power tool out here we need to go in the house. We all got a big laugh out of that. I do remember taking 2 at a time for a ride that afternoon. After that when they came over, they would ask Grandpa for a ride on the noisy one. I didn't have any baffles in the big 4" tubes off the headers.

I didn't have any baffles in the big 4" tubes off the headers. R J, I can see how you would have to be careful with little children around lawn mowers and snow blowers. I guess I should tell you that my snow thrower is exactly one manpower. Does it look something like this? Hay Jimmyt Very similar, but the leading edge is no longer nearly that straight. There will be no winner in this game will there guys?

Well hunker down and throw another log on the fire. You're going to be in it for quite a while now. Yea, it's gettin bad here too... http://www.khou.com/weather?iq_id=34015334Hay Jimmyt Our ground has been white forever! The sparrow showed up and he got a super duper a$$ kickin this time. Hope makes it home safe RJ. It was 76 deg on my way home tonight. Hay Jimmyt Me too Hay, me tooo. As do I. One of my oldest daughters girls wanted to help Grandpa out, only it was mowing grass. Who wants a winner? If we get a winner then we got to find something else to do on the board. Word. Hay Jimmyt Aw come on JimmyT, you can handle more words than that. Make it kind of hard to find on this long post. LOL This is not a thread for the most words, only the last word. The last one wins. Hope makes it home safe RJ. It was 76 deg on my way home tonight. Hay Jimmyt Me too Hay, me tooo. As do I. One of my oldest daughters girls wanted to help Grandpa out, only it was mowing grass. Wonder if we could get int the Guiness World records? Aw what the hell, we might as well go for the world record someone suggested. Count us all in. I'm not sure anyone actually maintains a world record category for most imbedded quotes. It will be interesting to see if there's a limit to what the software will manage. It's a little like a dogpile on the school playground. I can see it's already too large, but just can't seem to help myself from making it just one more. Hey Gunney, ya'll tryin to get us in trouble with Scott? We don't need your help on that, we is very capable of it. :ticked off: Just trying to get the last word in! Sorry, doesn't work like that! No it doesn't. Hay Jimmyt At all. Thank you Mr. Willow. You're welcome, Mr. Bullard. And why not? Well, mainly because Willow says... Yea, I'm sucking up. Hay Jimmyt He's right, of course. Hehe.
