I think I detect a little panic in RJ's post that this thread might be shut down and he wouldn't get the last word in.  Grin

I've still been riding to work most every day..even when it's in the twenties. Got rained on coming home today. Life is good!

Forty on each page, Wiiggy.  R J used to guess at that .

Let me repeat, forty on each page.  You only have to count once.

I know a lot of things that would likely surprise you.   Wink  It's who I am and what I do,  I stopped laughing about it a long , long time ago.  I also stopped laughing at people who either don't have the available sponge or have a lack of interest in those many things of life.   Smiley

I never use the phrase "no offense" because when I'm about to say (or type) something that I suspect may offend I just make a conscious decision to either say it or bite my tongue.   Smiley

Good to hear Wayne.  I ripped the toenail off of my big toe on the right foot, so I ain't runnin' anywhere either for a while.  Not that I ran fast anyway, but walking is on the menu for the next 2 months or so.  I have been wearing flip flops for 20 years most all of the time and this is the first time I have ever injured my feet in any way.

Ride safe brothers.

I've had both of mine removed due to prior injuries.

They give ya a shot in the toe, then they use a inverted spoon and slide it under the nail and presto nail is off.

They squirt some acid of some sort in the toenail growth channel and send ya home.    The acid is supposed to kill the nail growth forever.    I had a pair of slipons and wore them home.     Next day I was in my shoes.

Went back twice as advised and everything was good to go.   Haven't had a toenail problem since.

Nope, not on the bike.  Was dragging a small pallet with a boxed up AC unit in it off of the porch.  Of course, I was in flip flops like I have been for the last 20 years.
The box got caught on a bush and I jerked it free.  Too bad my right foot was in the way.

Just dull pain for the next couple of months until the new nail grows in and pushes the old one off.

Actually RJ, I have been wearing flip flops for over 20 years.  I do everything in them, except riding the Valk or Wing.  I mow the grass, take walks, I mean everything.  This is the first time I have injured myself because I was wearing them.
I still wear them, but I have the big toe wrapped with the blue tape that only sticks to itself and not to the toe/nail.

I have a pair of flip flops, but I can't really figure out how to keep them on.

I take about a dozen or less steps and I step right out of one.    So, I got me some cheap shoes, Monarch Air and slip em on and I'm off.    I can ride both Trikes in them, mow grass, blow snow and etc.   They are permanetly tied, so they became slip ons.   LOL.    cooldude cooldude

Looked at the wedder forcast and it looks like snow for us next Thursday.  Angry Angry

Saturday, I have to mow leaves again.   Sad  No trees in my yard anymore, but I got a neighbor who has 9 trees on her lot.     tickedoff  All are grown up out of saplings.    4 of them hang over my fence so guess where all the leaves end up.

Oh well hell, if I didn't have something to gripe about I'd go nuts.   Evil coolsmiley tickedoff 2funny crazy2

My wife did a face plant a few years back because she was wearing my crocs(which were way big on her). We were on a walking path when we approached a gaggle of geese on each side of the path. I walked through them and endured the hissing. The wife tried to run, ending up tripping and bloodied her chin.
I let her know that any unlikely goose attack probably would have been far less serious..

First RJ, Keep that white crap over there! Second, I  have a neighbor next to my house up north that just won't keep his yard clean. I keep my lawn clean just for fire prevention, its in the woods. I do it in the fall so in the spring so when they burn everything I don't have to worry about it. Its only 150 miles away from my regular home but I don't get up there every week.
I've got a ton of blood and sweat in that place so I don't want to worry about someone elses stupidity removing it.

The ladies trees that I get all the leaves off of, only mows her yard about once a month and these leaves will stay there till spring if a big wind doesn't blow them out of her fenced in yard.

Then directly behind me and 1 house to the West, this dumb butt will put a big ole pile of brush out on the back hill of his yard and set it on fire.  Once it gets going good he heads for the house to take a nap.

One year I for the love of God don't know why I looked out of the garage.    His fire had crawled over to the fence rows of 4 houses and was coming up mine burning the crap in the fence I hadn't whacked out like I should have.

Grabbed my 100' water hose and laid a stream on mine and then stood at the fence line and poured water on his big old bonfire.    He came flying out of the house hollering and hooting about me putting water on his burn pile.   Unbeknown to me, someone had called our volunteer fire dept and they were in front of my house looking.

They got out of the truck, pulled a 4" hose, hooked it to the hydrant and came down my driveway.    About 50' from the fire they hit it full force on that 4" hose.

He ended up with more crap on his yard than he started with.   The Fire Dept billed him $200 for the trip.         He thinks I called the Fire Dept.

On top of that, he is a retired School Principal and a teacher before that.   No wonder our kids don't learn anything if there are many of these guys/gals around.

My kids were lucky, they had GOOD teachers.

We just had a LADY teacher get hooked up with one of her students.

She admitted to sleeping with him once a week for 3 1/2 years.

Then his mom found out and called the authorities.

I don't remember what she got for time to serve, I know she had to register on the Sex Offender but I don't know the actual sentence.

Went up to the lake property today in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin to rake the leaves. One problem is they weren't all down and it was too windy to burn them. So on to plan 2, which was to just run over them with the John Deere and mulch them.

I'm still amazed and baffled where 3 to 4 inches of leaves can go with a good mulching set up...it's like friggin magic, I tell ya.

I let the wife drive the tractor while I raked the leaves out into the open. Got the whole thing done in about 2 hours.

Had to take some stuff up and bring some things back home so taking the bike was not an option. Sad

I was going to run my John Deere mower over the lawn and drieveway today.

Got up and the kitchen faucet had sprung a leak up under the main sink.  It is a double one.     Thank God it is behind the shorter one.    Of course, every thing was corroded from all the iron in our water.    A 45 minute job took my son and I over 4 hours to get the old one out and the new one in.

We thought we were good to go and he and Amber took off for something some, shopping who knows.

I used it at supper time to rinse the dishes off before I stuck them in the dishwasher.    Turned the faucet to the other tub and I thought it moved, so I tried it the other way, sure as hell, we didn't get the nut tight on the bottom.    I can't get down and back up, so I'll call him tomorrow and if he isn't doing anything, I'll ask him to come back over, tighten that nut and then have him dump my mower bags of leaves in the garbage container.    We can burn, but it has been too windy lately.    Wedder forecaster is saying snow Monday.    Damn 4 letter word anyway.

Good night.

It is like rain when it melts.

In the mean time it is slick and slippery.

That and a piece of ice was how I got 4 staples in my skull a few years ago in the driveway.

I enjoy it to a degree; I used to have a very powerful snow mobile.
Reason for that was we raced them, drag race I should say.
We put bolts in the tread for better traction.
We hopped up the motor a little bit and then hit it w/50 hp NOS.

Usually hit the NOS once in a drag.

Last year I raced I hit the NOS bottle twice and stretched the head bolt about a 1/4", blew the crankshaft out the bottom, motor was junk.   Wouldn't even make a good boat anchor.    tickedoff tickedoff

However, I did win the race.......    LOL......... Evil

Sold the rest of the sled for $400 and walked away from the racing portion. cooldude cooldude

It was a lot of fun, well till the 1st time I hit NOS bottle and the sled stood up on its backdoor, at about 60 MPH.

I had to go home and change everything.       That is the last time I can remember being scared on a sled.

Used to ride one all the time in California.    We had 2 sleds, 1 little CC one for the kids and the big CC one for mom & I.
