Yes, that's true Smiley

Just wondering, are those "sparkplug lines" to coils, like they use to be?

Mine aren't the same...

Meaning the order of the lines...

That's funny, mine were in totally different order. Worked well last summer... Smiley

Is there any picture of the color codes for the wires that comes to the coils (from the bikes wires)?

Mine were off and just want to make sure witch color goes where (don't trust that order, witch those were)...

That is just a parts drawing but in this case the plugwire layout is correct.  You can verify that on page 1-24 0f the Honda service manual.

Bigwolf

BLACK TERMINAL - Black/White wire on all 3 coils

GREEN TERMINAL
1-2 coil - Yellow/White wire
3-4 coil - Yellow/Blue wire
5-6 coil - Yellow/Red wire

each coil fires a set of running mates at TDC both cycles - compression and exhaust.  The coils correspond and fire the cylinders in direct relation to their mounting position on the bike.  Cylinders are odd one side even the other.  1&2 are running mates as are 3&4 and 5&6, front coil is for 1&2 etc.

Thanks for sufficient answers.

My wires were in totally different order.

Bought spark plug- and coilwires...

Amazing, that even worked that fine>didn,t notice anything.

Your mileage must have sucked big time! You would have had minimum of 2 cylinders out, so you only had a GL1100 all this time, a 4 cyl.

The stock OEM wires are individually marked for each cylinder. That's why they have different parts numbers.

Didn't notice with Supercharger Smiley

In fact, wires to coil were so wrong, that it's possible that it worked with all 6 cylinder, but in some weird order...

Last time, that all those wires where done again, was some Honda-dealer in Florida.
