Does anyone ever check the VRCC classifieds, or is it a waste of time?  Undecided
Judging from this post, Tank has not deemed them worthy?  uglystupid2  Cheesy

I think Mr. Tank likes to post craigslist ads that seem to be really good buys,
it's probably not an editorial position WRT the classifieds...

I like to look at the ads he posts...

Here's a few ad's found when searching Columbus, OH:

Red/White '97 Tourer, 40k, miles, Corbin seat, Kuryakyn Hwy Pegs, luggage rack for passenger backrest plus color-matched detachable tourpack - says he wants to trade for a VRod, but he had another ad on this bike asking for $6,950 (which has been taken down for some odd reason)  In this ad, he says "make offer"

http://columbus.craigslist.org/mcy/3614346778.html

In the "nearby" section, saw what looks like a pretty nice Red/Black 2000 I/S.  Only 2 pictures and the only add-on I can see is a luggage rack.  He says it has a new battery & good tires.  54k miles & looks good in pics.  Its located in Willard, OH, private seller wants $7,500.  Good price for an I/S ?

http://mansfield.craigslist.org/mcy/3640049799.html

Lastly not sure if anyone would be interested but here's a 2000 Red/Black Tourer.  Looks like lots of add-on's from the pics... lightbar, hwy floorboards, luggage toppers for the bags, and bag rails.  Correct me if I'm wrong but I think those are the cheaper / less desirable saddlebag rails?  They don't look like the ones I had on my 2000 Red/Black Tourer back in the day when I had it, which were Hondaline.  Anyway, its at a local shop, less than 23k miles, and they want $7,990.  Pretty highly overpriced I'm sure.

I paid 6 for mine but it has 40,000 on it. Looks like a good deal. I too was wondering if it was for real.
Too far for me though.

A dealer in Hendersonville NC told me (three or four years ago) that he still had one in the box.

I guess there might be some "new" ones still out there, but it seems like they might require some
fixing that a regularly used one might not.
