I see very few high mileagers from the midwest - darn winters not able to drive 5 months of the year.  tickedoff

I'm lucky to get 4-5K miles per year.  Should last me the rest of my life and then some.

The green and silver has a diamond plated trailer that I just sold to my nephew that has a tourer!

Oh yeah I remember now. Didn't you fly out to Oregon or somewhere for the green & silver? If I am remembering it correctly it had a really unique diamond plate trailer with it.

Yep, that's the one!

You must have a very limited view of what is the midwest.  I was pretty sure we didn't list location on that table.   Wink

Four to five thousand miles per year?  I probably wouldn't even bother with it.

I have a 1999 standard with 126,000+ miles on it.  I bought it new. This year I'm over 11,000 miles.
The most I put on in a year was 22,000.     I live in Sheboygan, WI and consider that  the midwest.
Considering the condition I'm in I feel lucky to ride the miles I do.

That's a lot of miles on a Northern bike.  My '98 just turned 88k, and it has endured three owners in Minnesota and Iowa.  Considering we put the bike up five months a year, yours would translate to 216,000+ if ridden twelve months a year.

There is a green/creme one aka MGM from the Midwest with 243K+ on it, and currently being ridden by my son and daughter.

Prior to that it has not had a vacation the past few years.    Due to O2 requirements, I had to slow way down on riding him.

Only time he was rode in the snow was in Wyoming on a trip home from California.

It was a sloppy slush.    Rode down the road about 20 to 25 mph and left a 2 1/2 foot tire path.      Trailer knocked out another big swatch.   It was fun to watch it spray out to the side like water puddles do.    LOL      angel 2funny cooldude cooldude

97 Standard rolled over 122k kms last weekend, around 50k of those were mine and I've only been riding 3.5 years + I have a second bike. I live on the east coast of Canada so our riding season is pretty limited.

Good to hear from you.  It was great meeting and riding with you in Arkansas.  Sounds like you had a great rest of the trip.  You truly do need to update us.  Thanks for coming to the VOAI Reunion.

No error.  Daniel is ahead of both you and me.

I split my time between two Valks.  How many are you riding?  (It was rhetorical.)  I still don't see much in "extreme neglect and sloppiness" to impress me.  I'll leave it at that.

Heh...I'd laugh with you...but they do have that data. Collected when I do the mandatory "safety inspection" each year...and pretty much anytime a vehicle is at any auto-service center (seen a Car-fax? Very enlightening)
