Now we're getting close... 499, 869.9. I plan to make Crazyhorse's Veterans Day Ride this weekend... and it's about 350 miles, give or take a few, away. If all goes according to plan, I'll have something to celebrate when we arrive! Our bike is such a wonderful partner, life would certainly have been different without her.

Hang in there Bruce, even if you have to circle the block about a dozen time to roll it over.

Take a picture as it rolls over Buddy.

I rolled 155k on my bike last week and she is still going strong.  I took a picture of the odometer when it had 55k on it...it took me 6 yrs and 4 months to put 100k on it...that averages out to 15,790 a year.  Cool  Only 345k to catch up with Bruce!!

Rolled 132,000 on the 99 IS this week.  All but 22k are mine and the rest from Gene Brady (Pasadena Honda owner) and my youngest brother.  Still going strong and ride most every day.  Not as many miles this year, as there is a BMW in the garage sharing the riding time.

OK, it's now official... 501,695 miles and counting. Our bike is the most amazing machine this old gypsy has ever been fortunate enough to be associated with! We rolled 500K on the way to Crazyhorse's Veterans Day Ride... and in keeping with our long-standing practice, we took a long-cut home... It was raining south and east of Cookeville, and it was pretty cool north of there, so we did the only sensible thing we could... we went west... Got home Friday, so now it's time for an oil 'n filter change, then fork replacement next week down in Lake Charles, LA. I just love our girl and this life!!!

Depending on what that number is supposed to be, we could put that on the list but we'd need to know the model and year also.   Smiley

I took this pic somewhere in South Dakota about 5 years ago, ended up with 130K when I killed it on the interstate when I got clobbered in Joplin, Mo. more than a year ago.  I got the bike new in 2001.  Hoser.  (buy the way, I expect a clean bill of health after the final exam resulting from that crash, scheduled tomorrow.  Wish me well.)    Hoser

On the 27 of Dec. at 32 degrees I rode 82 miles to get to 99000 on my 99 interstate. My 99 tour only has 68500. I was hoping I was going to get 100000 miles on the interstate but just didn't get the time.

519.5K, all very happy miles... Although, some of them didn't seem so at the precise moment they occurred. Still, everything has always worked out, thanks in large measure to all the friends I have throughout the Valk community! So, looking back it's been a journey I would not have wanted to miss!!!

Still more to go, too... Leaving for InZane in the morning early! Well, I'm not riding directly there... JP and I are taking a long-cut by way of Michigan and 'Da Q in Da Woods', then on to Glacier National Park, and perhaps some other adventures... We don't have a detailed agenda, of course, so things will unfold as they do, and we'll react and adjust as I love to do...

This is a truly epic thread. I thought my 1998 Standard with 69,000km was high and now I'm thinking I should be careful during the break in period. cooldude

I guess you'll have to remove my name (Earl in Pensacola and the '97 Tourer with 297K) from the list.  Sad to say, last Oct. I sold it for $2500.  I put $3000 with that money and bought a '99 Black Tourer that had only 48K and that one is already up to 61.5K. I hope I live long enough to take this one up to the 300K mark!
