Thanks for the input.
I checked the plugs today and referenced this page:
http://www.dansmc.com/Spark_Plugs/Spark_Plugs_catalog.htmlAll my plugs looked to be between an 11 to 19 on their picture scale.
And taking a hint from
http://www.angelfire.com/nj3/terminalvalkocity/mechanic_linker2.html#sootthe little plugs are gone from my pilot screw holes so I guess someone did some work to the jets.
Runs great, good throttle response. I could get in trouble with the local LE real quick.
I had gotten worried because my pipes are straw to blue. I have read since that the Cobra 6 into 6 turns blue anyway.
Took the rear tire off to check the splines. Boy, I hope I never have a flat on the road. Takes a little creative engineering. I think a center stand is going to be in the works soon.
Thankfully there was some moly still left and the splines looked good, so I cleaned it up, replaced the o-rings, packed more moly in.
I should be good to go for longer rides, once the afternoon thunderboomers slow down a bit.
Last year we did nekkid rain dances for just a sprinkle. Guess it all caught up with us this year.
Y'all have a great 4th...
