Well I've started installing the cruise control on Interstate.  Tank off,  airbox off,  smog stuff still intact.  At some time I will desmog but don't want to screw too much up this close to Inzane.  My problem is mounting the throttle bracket using the shoptalk instructions.  I made the bracket according to the picture but it doesn't seem to fit.  is that only designed to be used on a desmogged engine?  Other mounting ideas?  I can get at and remove the supposed attachment bolt but the smog stuff seems to be in the way for mounting the bracket.

I'm sure someone has done it,  you folks always come through!

Thanks.

If you are talking about these instructions

That bracket was made on a desmogged engine (mine).

None of my business but ... I would wait until the engine is desmogged (IMHO much cleaner set-up, etc.).

Thanks for the great instructions.  I really would like to try it out before Inzane then play around with the install some more later when I get back.  Just don't want to tackle too many projects at once!  Time has a funny way of speeding up that way!

Not sure if this will help but you can look at what I did about a 1/4 the way down the page on my MultiPoint upgrade thread..

Although I also had already started my desmog at this point.

It's possible to do the install without desmogging (I did a couple of years ago). Alph has some nice pictures of how to do the install, I suggest sending him a message.
