Hmmmmmm.....your rotors are virtually new which suggests this is a low mileage Valk and might even have the original tires still on it. So how many miles and take a look at the date code on the front tire. I am not so sure that you don't have a bad front tire (slipped belt?/). Or perhaps you have a frozen caliper so it doesn't free float any more......has the bike sat for a long period....
Rio......
The bike has 71,150 miles on it, so the tires have been changed multiple times on this bike. I know that the tires on this bike will need to be replaced around spring of next year as these still have some ride time left on them before replacement.
What I was told by the previous owner is that "I've never done anything to it except change oil, filter, air filter, tires, put gas in it and ride." I changed the final drive oil on it for the first time since the previous owner got the bike....10 years ago. The drive oil smelled terrible and I have plans on replacing the final drive oil once again in a week or so.
So now that I'm learning about a Valk and what services are needed/expected and such, I'm in a steep learning curve about the bike and I do have plans to take the front end apart, grease the steering yoke bearings, clean and service the front brake calipers, master cylinder, check/replace the front wheel bearings, change the fork oil for the first time ever, and more. I'm just trying to sort through it all and learn about what all needs to be done and what I can do myself.
So there you have the story of where I am and what I'm finding.
