It's time for our first-of-the-new-year meeting this coming Thursday.
Even though I'm 0 for 2 my last two times at bat as far as restaurants go, I'm going to just call this one.
Let's do it at Fuddrucker's in Grapevine at 7 pm (1900 for the Gunny.)

I'm bringing my lift adapter (the red, non-permanent kind) to the meeting since I can't use it with my center stand. I think someone offered me $20 for it so whoever that was, it will be there Thursday.

We met per plan, although the roster was somewhat thin. Baron, Rainmaker, Timbo, PlaneCrazyGal, Buzzkill, Brew1brew, Disco, and yours truly all showed. We discussed upcoming events for the next few months: - January 25 (Saturday): Pantego Lions Club Breakfast. Read Rainmaker's post about it. We would probably not do an organized ride, but do a meet-there.
- February 15 (Saturday): Wrench Party at Valkpilot's. Get your parts on order.
- Late February/Early March: Mid-Winter Gathering (still waiting on announcement)
- Mid-March: Ride to The Shed in Edom for lunch. Rainmaker volunteered to lead this one.
- April 4 & 5: Gathering Of the Fools
- May: Bluebonnets & Bacon Run
- June 9-13: Inzane XIV in Asheville, NC Read the post on the General Board
There are 9 notable canyons and gorges in Texas. Five of them are in the Lubbock / Amarillo region. I suggested the idea of a weekend ride to visit all five. Feedback, please. Timbo won the 50/50 drawing and is now rich beyond his wildest dreams. He's probably too good for us now and will snub us on the street as we pass. |
