Hey Ron,
I see brackets there for a set of Krauser bags. Did you get the bags as well? Used to have a set of those on my Suzuki GS650 and loved them. Even the brackets by themselves should be worth a dime or two to someone trying to fix up an old school Wing.
Hello Old_dog!  No he didn't have any bags to go with it.  I'll have to look up some pics of Krauser bags to see what they look like.

Krauser bags aren't very pretty, kinda like a set of Samsonite suit cases in the 60's, but very practical.

Something must be wrong with me!  Bought "another" GW. It's a 1980 Interstate.  Just couldn't say no.  Can be followed over on Naked GW.

You can post up here what you're doing with these old wings you're buying.  You're a member here and we like to see what other menbers are up to.

John S. posts about his old wing restore here on the VRCC, you can post about yours here too.  Besides, I'd like to see what you're doing with them.   cooldude

Ok!  Seems like there is some interest so I'll start a new thread with pics and what I've done so far.  For now I'll post the '80 GW Interstate and things I've done because the '77 is running. Hope I not "rocking the boat!"
