Search came up empty. I found the Maryland Metrics page for the rings, and looks like grumpy uses a spacer dimension of 0.615 when using the nylos ring. Soooo, which ring? Thanks.

It is 6204ZAV. Try a search for nilos not nylos.

Here is an old thread about it. http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,28382.0.html

Got it, thanks. Now, how much to trim off the spacer? I'm seeing .270, .280. Or just wait till I've got the parts and let the machinist measure the parts and sort it out? This measurement will affect my caliper to disc clearance, correct?

Without going back and reading the whole thread....I think I had .270 taken off. The consensus was .010 is a trivial amount and not to worry too much about it. Mine works fine. If it all fits in between the swing arm it will work.  The caliper floats.

.010 isn't much for this application imo ( I ground off exactly the width of the spacer) but it is a heck of a lot in others...I found reducing the size of the spacer was the easiest using a surface grinder with a magnet to holding it down..your machinist should have access to one.
