Some break without notice. Some break due to lift arm pressing against the spring. The broken bolt and often time loss of spring has happened to many of us over the years. Not an uncommon occurrence.

I`m sorry guys "but". What happens when your down the country road 70 miles and stop to take a wizz, get a drink, gas, what ever, and your side stand has done what it does, as stated, and you are alone and @ 165 lbs with short legs, what do you do to keep from laying the bike down ??? How do you get back to "HOME" to fix. All advise is welcome, along with the S.A. ones,.

Do you tie up with a bunge, rope, or what ???? TIA.
