Lori, I saw the Canyons and the Waterfalls here, but didn't see any caves.

Which picture are they hiding in?

Have a great day and try to keep Carl out of trouble, OK?

WOOHOO!!!!!.....time for some Black Hills.......does registration begin January

For tax reasons, we have not been opening registration before January 1.  We are going to talk to our tax accountant to see if there is a way around the tax issues.  In a couple of earlier IZs, we opened registration sooner, but didn't charge the cards until Jan. 1.  But that caused issues with expired cards.  Plus, I don't know if our current merchant account will support that.

In short, we are trying to figure out a way to open registration sooner.

Why on God's green Earth would anyone need to register for an event ten months in advance.  Just to keep things simple it makes sense to receive the money in the same year in which expenses will occur.

For planning purposes it should be enough to release the dates and location as soon as possible.

R J, January should work fine.  There is no prize for being the first one to register.   Wink  See you there, I hope.   cooldude

I've been talking to Mark. Depending on a few things,  I'm going to try to make it to Inzane. Absolutely no promises.  It would be nice to see everyone again.

Maybe we could have a special 'old Farts' luncheon.  That would be good especially if RJ makes it!

Again, no promises.  I don't do promises at my age.

I don't know about that luncheon.  I've never been inclined to put together farts and an eating event.  Just doesn't sound like a good idea.   Shocked

Considering the average age of a Valkyrie rider, wouldn't the Old Fart's luncheon also be known as "lunch"?

It's great to have this much advance notice on the location. But, considering the distance(2k one way) under present circumstances I can see no way I can attend. It was difficult enough getting my wife's family to coordinate taking care of their mom for one week this year, I won't even bother asking for a minimum of two weeks and possibly longer. I'd love to make the trip on the bike, haven't had a long trip in ages and have plenty of family I can stay with going/coming to keep costs down. But you never know, there's plenty of time and the "desires of my heart" are well known.  cooldude
