Will be in Spearfish, SD.  June 8-12, early bird night on the 7th.
For tax reasons, we probably won't open registration until January.  We are trying to figure a way around the tax problem.  If we can, we will open sooner.

So, do I understand this right? Inzane is a yearly meet-up for the board, but it moves around year-to-year? And in 2015, it will be in Sturgis, SD?

I like this idea, but want to make sure I understand it before getting too pumped about it.

Yup.  That's it.  A Valkyrie rally once a year, usually in early summer (after the snow melts), and it moves around the country.  It stays pretty central, as in probably won't be on either coast.  Attendance suffers.

Just MHO.

Ground Zero, Spearfish, SD.   Grin

Think about it,
You own a motorcycle that will fly you from coast to coast,  border to border with out much effort.

Yet you will bitch about having to ride 3 or 4 days to get to GZ.

Think about it,  you rode as the world went by and noticed nothing ?

Isn't it all about the ride ?  the achievement   Wink  T.P.

Hmm,
Well I suppose it's that way for some, not necessarily for all.

For me it's as much about the destination, the event and the people as the ride to get there.   Maybe more so.    To say it's all about "just" the ride sure leaves a lot out.   Would I ride to Spearfish, SD if Inzane were not being held there, maybe.   To be perfectly clear, I am not bitching about the location but, the location is what sets the travel time and I only have so much time I can spend away from work.   Darn pesky bosses kind of expect me to show up now and then.    Travel distance also equals dollars.      Again, there's one of those pesky problems about how many nights I can afford to spend on the road.

So, to say it's all about the ride is leaving quite a bit of the equation out.    The ride is a huge part of the equation, not the whole equation.    But, I'm thinking you already knew that.

This is just me, but it is all about the people. I have only been to one InZane, the first one and the main goal for me was to see all the folks I used to chat with. I have just put in for vacation time and plan on trying to make this one. I will be flying in and renting a car and that will be fine by me.
I look forward to seeing many old friends and many new friends as well.

I have a question!   I see that the dates for Inzane 15 are June 8 - 12.   This is a Monday to a Friday, but Inzane used to be a Wednesday to Sunday.  The days don't matter to me, but I want to set aside the correct dates.  Could you please confirm that June 8 - 12 is, in fact, correct?

We started doing Monday through Thursday with the Early Bird Supper on Sunday evening a few years ago. This allows for travel on the weekends before and after. You use less vacation time this way and hotel rates are generally cheaper on the weekdays. The posted dates are correct.  cooldude

FYI, the official start date is June 8, but if you can make the early night on the 7th, it is always a good time (courtesy of the VRCC)!

Greetings to all brothers!
I'm interested in this question. Can the rally organizers to send me what some official papers, which I will facilitate visa United States?
I think the last time in Russia to obtain this visa is not easy.

Did the 1,000 mile Iron Butt from Michigan last September to Rapid City, SD (19 hours) and then spent two days enjoying the Black Hills area. You guys have hit a home run with this location choice. I won the longest "ride in" for the LaCrosse InZane XIIV coming from Palm Springs, CA. For everyone's information the Crazy Horse Memorial conducts their annual Volks March on the weekend of June 6-7. It has been a bucket lister for me and I am looking forward to the timing of these two events. The Volks March is the only time of the year you can walk out to and ascend the memorial, giving you a chance to walk out on the arm of this great project. They will also have a night show, and other special events surrounding this weekend. Here is a link for additional info

http://crazyhorsememorial.org/special-events/crazy-horse-volksmarch/

and if there would be interest in doing a ride there for this event, I would volunteer to lead and help put it together.

We spoke with the hotel today, and they should be ready to start taking reservations early next week!  YEAH!  Registration is ready to go, and as soon as we get the go ahead from the hotel, it will be opened.  Be sure to check, the beginning of the week, because as soon as it is open, we will make the post!  Can't wait!!!    Grin Cheesy

It is next week and several hundred people are waiting for a the details so they can jump in and get their rooms on the first floor.  For those that procrastinate like me, are alternate Hotels being identified?

Thanks for all the work that goes into making this a great event.  I know the ability to manage a remote event is difficult.

Just purchased a Valkyrie and am considering going to InZane 15. I had a question or two about the event, since this a Valk Rally, will there be a few mechanics there in the event I would like to get my scooter desmoged? if so, should I ensure I have purchased the parts before hand and bring them?

Regis,

Bill Furgeson (Big BF) is usually running 24/7 working on folks Valks...  A desmog can take some time, so I would contact him before the event, to see if you can set up some time for the work to be done.  Here is his web site - http://www.bigbf.com/ ...

Hello folks!   For the past seven months, I have been collecting and assembling the parts to build a 1999 based Valkyrie from scratch. This bike did not exist seven months ago. It is now ready to ride.
For years I have wanted to visit and see the Black Hills and surrounding areas. Just retired in October.
And now there is an event called Inzane and I have read that it is an annual meeting of Valkyrie owners and this event is being held in South Dakota!
Strange how things just happen to work out. Shocked
You can bet "yer sweet ass" that I will be there! cooldude

So much to do before coming down, not much time to do it in.  Will be trailer queening the Valk down (unfortunately) on Saturday hopefully.  Working in the middle of nowhere and have to get travel insurance, bump up liability on the bike ( has been recommended, bike only has ~$200k), get some US$, mount the wheel chock I picked up, and pack.  Not home until late Friday night.
