This thread is over in the 1500 technical section.
Thought someone in here may be able to get ahold of her and help out!

Posted a response to her.  There are a couple of members not too far away, but she's off the beaten path a little.

The Fall Gathering might be an opportunity to set her right.

hey y'll,  an update...read your advise and talked with our mechanic from OK (who is a Valk rider and Honda dealer) and he had much the same advise. SO, my husband put the idle in the right place and I believe that solved much of the aesthetics issue. Certainly if I wanted a bike as loud as a Hardley, I would have bought one.
SO, now to the brakes, which was the real reason I took the bike in. I still think y'll are right and he switched my good rotor for a warped one. I'm working on my "tactfulness" to return to discuss the repercussions. Some days it's tough being a Westerner in a PC world. HA
All in all I have learned...come to the Valkyrie forum FIRST!
I do believe I will be seeing you all in Fredericksburg in October. We've been kicking it around but are usually too spontaneous for plans this far in advance.
Thanks for the advise!
