Some people here (myself included) have tried a Dunlop American Elite on the rear.

The size is close but not perfect (180 65B 16).
Your Continental Hi Milers are available at that size.  Smiley

For the front, you have many choices (OEM size) or a rear tire "reversed" and installed on front wheel.

Note: I currently have a Continental Conti-Go in the front (as per CAs comments) and like it very much.

You have many options! Good luck!  cooldude

The CHP back in the 50's, through the 70's had Continental on all of our bikes.

They stuck like glue and wore well also.

Back then I owned a few Triumph's, BSA's and other English bikes of that time frame.

Pretty much all of them had Continentals.

The only place they didn't stick too good was on the dirt track racing.   Then we ran Good-Year tires.   Mostly Knobbies.       cooldude Grin Cool
