Hmmm Jack and Billy in room 107-K....

Looking at the trip myself.  Decision will be last minute and only if I don't head west to Spearfish.

For those of you who didn't look up at the room list..107-K is the honeymoon suite!! Grin

Hope you can make it Gil.

I did not see the room description till now, THAT IS JUST LOW  tickedoff  Grin

This just in, after many weeks of discussions and negotiations with the National Park Service and the Blue Ridge Parkway folks, I have arranged for them to completely shut down the BRP just for us for the entire week with no speed limits!!!

Ok..that's not true, but wouldn't that be so cool!!

Hey, you can run the BRP as fast as you're able.  There's never that many Park Police up there at one time. They're mostly in big white/beige SUVs (if they're not hiding in the woods).

Only thing is that it's reckless to pass on the yellow (and you do run into grandad in the Winnebago quite often), the fines can be high, and court is Federal not local.  And of course there's bambi and a few black bears just to keep it interesting.

So you have to ask yourself, do you feel lucky?   Grin

What you can do with a little effort, is wait for a few crotch rockets/beemers to go blazing by, then run like hell a half mile behind them watching for brake lights.  Evil

Wow, I had almost forgotten. Thanks for the bump Jack. I will put this in a new thread pretty soon due to the 3 page thing.  I am not sure how many folks are still considering this but I'm sure they will be running out of rooms. If you're considering this, you may want to book it pretty soon. You still have the option of cancelling. Don't forget to mention the Florida Valkyrie Group.

Not sure if this has been posted here.  This is a link to the area riding maps for everyone to get familiar with the rides available.

Yippee! We get to see you all in Maggie.  We want to host a lunch/ride but unfortunately it will have to be on Sunday, before everyone arrives.  Please see this post for further explanation:  http://www.valkyrieforum.com/bbs/index.php/topic,76715.0.html.  Will post more details later!

Looks like Kristie and I along with Eddie and Kim will be up at the Fatherinlaws cabin just outside Bakersville N.C.
The Cabin is approximately just under 2-hours away from Maggie Valley.
Will be hooking up with everyone for some great riding. Plan on being up there thru the first week of June incorporating the front and back weekends.
As we get closer to this we will be in contact as to meeting up !!!!!!

My Cell phone is 352-302-6192. text  me your cell phone #'s so we can keep in touch.
