Has anyone used the Barnett clutch components?

If so, does it use the damper plate? Or does it eliminate it?

My damper plate seems to have started bustin' rivets. Looking at alternatives for the repair.

The smartest option would be to stick with OEM.

Aftermarket products are often trouble prone.

hi.
Barnett plates and springs are very good replacement parts.

my  Kit Includes;

10 KEVLAR FRICTION PLATES, 8 TEMPERED STEEL PLATES, 1 DIAPHRAM SPRING

Nothing is left out, part for part swap. so if dont have it in your Barnett box, then turn to OEM supplier.

you can run a clutch without the damper spring assembly, we pull them out all the time on our sportbikes and dragbikes.  just have to replace them with steels to keep the overall clutch pack height the same as oem.

by the way, i have taken measurements on the valkyrie friction plates and they are exactly the same as a suzuki Hayabusa and the Kawasaki ZX14.  they will also interchange with many other bikes such as the tl1000r...  fyi hayabusa clutches are cheaper cause they sell so many to dragracing customers, supply and demand....

so there is some food for thought, There are many aftermarket places that sell just the plates and steels.  you could resource a cheap clutch setup than oem with exactly oem style plates, what is important is to keep the overall clutch pack height the same as per the valkyrie manual regardless how many frictions and steels that requires.

also, I do not like barnett clutches, only thing I ever purchase from them is heavy duty springs....oem style fibers are the best
