What, no pictures?
How was the fluid, like was it maintained/changed out, and this is gunk that was fouling things up from over time?
I regularly change the fluid, it was done last spring when I noticed the travel distance of the pedal increasing. Most of my driving is city and back country roads. The rubber seal on the piston was half covered with a thin aluminum looking film. Although the cylinder looked brand new. This on a 97 standard. I have not been able to post pictures for a while after up dating this laptop. I hate computers. This makes me think about rebuilding the caliper anyway.
