I am sad that I am going to miss this roundup. First one I missed in awhile. Wife suprised me on my 60th birthday 2 weeks ago with tickets to a Cubs/Cardinals game for all my kids, grandkids and Inlaws on the very day of the roundup. Even have my daughter and her husband flying in from Denver for the weekend. But I am happy that she did this for me and yes, family comes first around here. There will be more rides, but some family could be gone tomorrow. So I will be happy to spend this time with them and be thinking about you folks on the ride. Hope it all goes well and everyone has a great time. See you next year or on another ride.

Wizzard sorry to here that you are not going to make it. But like you said family does come first. That is why I am not making the meet in the middle ride granddaughter sixteenth birth day is on the 4 can't miss the big one. have like I know you will and be safe. |

Man, Im getting stoked for this ride! I am bringing 6-8 riders with me from the Goshen area. As excited as I am for our ride, I am also sobered by the reports of our friends from the Meet in the Middle ride. They are in our thoughts and prayers for swift recovery's. I know we all know safety is our first priority, so this is just another reminder to be safe and ride your own ride to your own ability! The group will be just fine if we have to slow down for a bit! Better to finish the ride safe than not to finish! See you all on the 18th! |

While it's not really possible to know how many Valkyries are going to be there, a head count is good enough. I'm wondering if the organizers have considered breaking the group up into smaller groups?

There should be green, red, white, jade, black, yeller, orange, purple, blue, etc. I hope the weather agrees and is nice as I want to meet and greet so many that I want to put a face with a name. This is one event that RAMS says is a must do as it will be the highlight of many activities that we can enjoy. Be looking for everyone come next Friday.. IT IS GONNA BE SOOOOOOO GOOOOOD !!!!! Gabby
