discontinued yrs ago. expect to pay $400 on ebay when one shows up.

see my post for the C5 ignition. I just contacted Paul again a few weeks ago still on the back burner. Not enough interest to push him forward faster.
it would be a much, much better system than the dyna, multi-spark, multi curves and new advanced coils.
I have been using a dyna for yrs.

The Dynas also had problems with going bad and not running well in the 2k range. So even if you get one it may not function correctly. I would just do the interstate icm and use a advance trigger wheel.

If you do as Robert says....don't run in the upper rev's--too much advance but the bottom end will be impressive...

If the bike is a STD/Tour then I'd recommend the IS ICM.

I run a Dyna.  I tried 2 different Dyna units and both would run rough in light loads around 2000 rpm.  It was worse on hot days.  Then I removed the rubber sleeve that mounted the original ICM and mounted one of those same Dyna units to an aluminum heat sink.  It has run well since and has not given another minute of trouble.  Not even any trouble at Inzane 12 which was 105F or better every day.  So, my suggestion would be that if you do happen to find a Dyna, be sure to toss out the original rubber mount and mount the Dyna on something that draws heat away from the unit.

I do carry the original standard ICM with me at all times.  Hey, it is small and the Dyna could still fail.

the 2k miss, mine does it and I have not used the rubber boot since it was new. funny thing it didn't start doing it until it was 4-5 yrs old. I thought something was wrong with the carbs, coils, spark plugs etc., wasted a lot of time troubleshooting everything.
I always have the oem ICM under the seat.

hopefully the C5 will be available soon. more ignition advance at hwy speeds, part throttle, is a big key to much better mpg.

Not had the 2000 miss, occasionally it runs with weird timing (hear the exhaust really growl and feels flat on acceleration). Just turn  the key off then restart and it resets itself.

C5 is moving forward with a 1500 system. I expect to be testing some components in the next few weeks.
It will probably be worth the wait.
