I looked at my front brake lines, I didn't see any configuration that would result in it rubbing coming from the main part of the bike. I have the ABS model.
Yes ABS is probably different but you have to remove the front upper cover to see the lines go past the coil supports. Mine is non ABS, and I doubt you have the same line since the line probably connects to the ABS unit right there.
When I replaced my front brake line with Spiegler, I only changed
out up to (and including) this junction box...

Hey thanks for the pics because it cleared up what it said on their site. I thought the lines only got replaced up to that union and your experience made it clear. From there it goes under the tank then just goes back out like a big u. I think the ABS unit is probably located at that point under the cowl so its really easy to just put a pipe to connect the 2 lines and not redesign the whole system. But I want to run a line straight to the calipers so there is no flexing when you turn. Basically it will have only one junction at the caliper connection split and run straight from the brake master.
