I think Serk it 5' 19" as well... if we can get him to break his non-IZ attendance record.

I'm having my son ride with me, but my wife and 15-yr-old (now 14) daughter might be following in the car.  My daughter, at 5 foot 1ish might need a footstool to see eye-to-eye with yours, though.  Smiley

Thank you for being considerate and converting those units out of that commie Metric system into something I can understand!  2funny

The wife has no interest in going, so leaving her and the 5 year old triplets back home, if we can make it will just be the 14 year old and I on the Valk...

Hate to pry, I know staff are working feverishly to get everything buttoned up but do we have an idea when packages will go on sale, and ballpark how much the hotel is gonna cost? Trying to figure out how much I need to budget to break my non-attendance streak...

I`ve only made the one in Spearfish. But the packet came out for that sometime in January. If I remember it was about $100 for 2. [depending on what all you get] And then the hotel was about $100 a night. You guys should do it. cooldude We had a great time.

From past experience(s) the room itself will be in the hundred buck a night range. Very rarely a bit south of that C-note. Most inexpensive one I remember was Wisconsin. Sometimes NOT always the breakfast buffet is included with the room. At I-16 even with their coupon the breakfast was right around 10 bucks. Someone turned us on to a Mom and Pop restaurant with better food at more reasonable prices. The I-16 venue motel was supplying our coffee though! RIDE SAFE.

InZane registration will open after the first of the year. Registration cost is usually $45 per person (slightly reduced for co-rider or spouse).   Hotel rooms tend to range from $89 per night, some more for larger rooms or more beds.

Breakfast is included in hotel price this year.  Rates are $89 or $99, depending on room config; There are also suites available, can't remember the cost off-hand.  Full registration is $48; $39 for co-rider (or spouse).  That includes Sunday early bird dinner and Thursday night banquet.  Early registration includes Joe Boyd shirt and IZ event pin.

For tax reasons, we don't open registration until after the first of the year.  Usually the first week or two in January... depending on my work schedule and a few other logistics.

Thanks for the numbers! You can't do much about the length of your life, so focus on the width and depth, and it's time for me to start focusing on the parts I can do something about...

I've got spousal unit's reluctant approval, the money's squirreled away, the 14 year old REALLY wants to go so *KNOCKING FURIOUSLY ON WOOD* I'll be there this year...

Besides... I THINK I've worked out which hotel it'll be at, wanna sign up when it's open just so I can verify if I'm right or not! Wink

Now that there is one fine quote....have always more or less thought along those lines, just never heard it expressed in such a simple and relevant manner before  cooldude

Never one for big group rides or "bike rallies", I passed on all Inzanes up until I finally decided to hit Spearfish in 2015, and then Morgantown again this year. Not only have the events themselves been fantastic, but the opportunity to meet other members from distant locations in person, to see more Valkyries at once than I'd ever see in 4 lifetimes up in this neck of the woods, and especially the rides to and from, left me wishing I'd decided to attend earlier events....looking forward to Billings  now, to make it 3 in a row...
