If no-one answers soon I'll call the local dealer and see it they have one in stock.

EDIT

I'll leave the question about the ID here. Just ordered one from my local dealer. Should be here by Friday of this week.

I looked around some. It is probably a metric size... have you taken your old one off? I haven't.
It might be molded to the right shape, and maybe you'd be most happy with an OEM
replacement...

5/16's line works fine. Chances are if your fuel line is developing cracks, your plastic T is going to be pretty brittle also. I would grab a brass T while your at it.

on my bike it varied, At the T by the carbs it was 10mm, dropped to 7mm (where the PO fitted a filter) then back up to 8/9mm

I replaced mine with 10mm and a larger sized filter and a hose clamp at the tap to ensure a tight fit, but 8 or 5/16 would be fine Smiley

I've used 5/16 from NAPA but the OD was larger than the OEM so the clamps were harder to reuse.

I found a couple of pics of my fuel line

OEM vs 10mm at the smallest part

complete OEM with filter added

With the 10mm it makes it easy to fit to the tap and it slides in easy..... but you must have a good clamp to do up to seal it... I find that better but I also used 8mm for a while and it was fine

I can't remember exact size I used, but standard fuel line did not fit well. Too tight or too loose. Ended up using rubber fuel injection hose. Fit perfectly. Figure might hold up better any way since it's made for pressurized fuel.

It looks like your fuel filter is backwards ? Because of the Southern Hemisphere rotation ?  Grin

Well that was the wrong part to order.

I will replace it anyway with what arrived at the dealers today.

I need to know about the fastest of the tubes.

Well, then... you mean right under the nose of the seat? That's a vent line,
you can use gas line from the autoparts store there, as long as it is close
and fits on the nipple. It's on this picture... I don't know of any gas line that
fits to the gas tank other than the one you ordered, the vent (29 in the picture)
and the vacuum line from the petcock to the #6 intake...

It could be backwards....just put together for the pic, fitted a larger filter and hose .....and as for rotation flow everyone knows its supposed to be clockwise Cheesy

Hmmm... that seems like it ought to be 17701-MZ0-000 ... maybe
you have different or non-OEM stuff there, that's not an OEM clip I
don't think. It leads from the petcock to out-of-the-picture behind the
frame rail... I've popped it off the petcock a million times, but
never followed it down to wherever it goes... I remember thinking
maybe I should replace it, and then when I saw the black hole it led
to I figured mine was OK  Smiley ...  the previous owner of your bike might
have put a filter down past there or something... screwing around
with that area of the bike is one of the favorite things that people
do...

Good luck, hopefully some others have advice...

17701-MZ0-000 is the fuel line I bought for my 98 Tourer in 2009. Still have it tried to install it once needed longer pliers.
Got the pliers but forgot the project.  Sad
