Seems they are no longer in business. I think he retired. Need source for GD 525 and GD570 . I went to the BMW web site but they are all out of stock. Has to be a good alternative , quality moly lube that is water proof. Please advise and thanks.

You can get a good tub of moly at Graingers... that's where we got Stanley Steamer's, I bet he never runs out...
EDIT: I think Graingers has the same kind Valkorado posted...

Go with Honda OEM
That Honda 60 grease is good for the drive shaft and pinion cup but I wouldn't use it on the drive splines

Holy crap ! What's with the prices on your first link? $24 for 4 oz jar. moly is a mined mineral, from some research I did, epa/last administration mining restrictions/costs caused prices to jump higher. not political!, just the facts! it was half that price when I bought it 10yrs ago.

Bel Ray waterproof grease is for wheel splines. The driveshaft calls for moly grease which has a minimum of 2% moly. Valvoline Durablend grease is 3% moly which I've used on the driveshafts of 3 of my Valks and numerous others. Never lost a spline or driveshaft.

manual calls for 60% moly paste for splines. I mix sticky 60% moly grease with the 70% moly paste.

I run Castrol LMM (Spheerol) on both sets of splines, has up to 3% Moly. This stuff was designed for Constant Velocity Joints
All splines look good and there is always a good covering of lube at wheel change/ rear end servicing.
A mate has only ever run plain grease and has over 200K miles on his 97 and they are still good. Part of the secret is regular servicing.
You can also get Castrol SBX with up to 10% Moly plus up to 3% Graphite.

Well said. Regular maintenance and a quality waterproof grease is key. That Honda 60 black tube is not waterproof and even though it is called a paste the instructions on the tube say to use it as a grease.. It is not up to the task for the drive splines (confirmed to me by Honda) Regular maintenance and proper assembly procedure is very important.
