At least for this weekend.

Unbelievable.  Never has a 16 seed taken down a number 1.  I think I will go give my retriever Finn a pat on the head.

March Madness is running wild.   Just ask AZ, Wichita State and Virginia.   Been a wild ride.   I'm betting there isn't an intact bracket in the nation.   No one could have predicted some of the results.   Will be watching my KY Wildcats to see how they do.   They have potential but have let me down multiple times this season.    It is, what it is.

To answer your question, the hungriest dog! Which #1 got beat? I haven’t been paying attention the last day or so.

#1 (overall ! and ACC Champions) Virginia was taken out by #16 UMBC - 20 point loss - first time a #1 has ever lost in the first round.

If there isn't a blown bracket - that person was a crazy genius !

Was it a good game to watch, outside of the upset factor?

I think it's normal for most uninvolved folks to pull for the underdog so, if you were a Virginia fan it was not a pretty sight but, then it was a great game for all of those "underdog" fans watching.   Unbelievable shooting and exceptionally poor defense were the shocking factors.   Pretty obvious that Virginia did not take the "dogs" as a serious threat.   I doubt anyone else will make that mistake.

I think that is a good summary Rams.  My gosh, VA only allowed 53 points per game in the ACC and these Retrievers did that many in the second half.  Last Sunday when watching the brackets, I asked the wife who is Maryland Baltimore County?  Then when they said Retrievers, well me being a big dog lover and partial to retrievers I told her we have to back this team.  I think every other team with a dog mascot are either bulldogs or huskys, although I think there is a team called the Terriers up in Massachusetts, maybe Boston University, not sure.
