Cobra light bar and Tourer windshield brackets- placement.

Do the cobra light bar brackets mount the same way the stock bilinkers do to fit the Tourer windshield?  Or can someone with both measure from the top of the bottom triple tree to the bottom of the cobra bracket.  I do not have my windshield here to make sure.  Never had cobra light bar - finally got one.

The bolt that clamps the turn signal clamp goes through a factory bracket behind the fork. The cobra clamp bolt goes through the same bracket hole (it's a notch in a bracket).

If I am seeing correctly that's not a light bar but rather two brackets to mount your lights.  If so, I could use a set.  Are they still available, and where?

Not available from Cobra any longer.  Keep checking EBAY, Craigslist and our classifieds.  A really nice set will shock you. $500 and up.  I've seen crappy ones sell for $200-$300

Thanks for the feedback.  I started searching for them, and found some sets on Pinwall and Ebay.  You are right very pricey.  More than I want to spend. I guess I will go back to Plan A, mounting on the engine guards.  I like the lower, triangle shape anyway, so I might as well do that.

I'm happy with my Cobra Light bar...They are a great distinctive touch to my 99 CT...I don't plan on ever getting rid of them, but just when we say things like this, BAM we all know what happens...!!!

Most I see for sale are corroded and I had to PC mine but I love the look in black. As above I also like the lower crash bars for light location and not added weight to handle bars, as a matter of fact have you ever looked at pictures of polish chapters with their group rides? They like large lights mounted there.  I kinda like the look.
