Found this site on Daily Mail Online.

Cool, but not sure I agree with them all.

Wonder how many DDT's been on?  Smiley

I hit the Ohio 571 and I will be danged.  Arcanum, OH, my area.  This is quiet area, it is a nice well paved road, but does not inspire much unless you love flat land  and great agricultural areas, and indeed there is something good to be said about that.  I travel it almost every working day.

Not the most scenic roads to ride for sure. It shows 56 across northern NM from Clayton to Springer, 94 miles. I rode that stretch once on the ST1300 in an hour just to say I've rode 90 miles an hour for a hour without backing off.

There is only about one corner across the entire 94 miles and don't ride a standard tank across there without fueling up first.

On the positive NM side....ride NM15 from Silver City to the Gila Cliff Dwelling park. Google say its 45 miles and will take you 1 hour 29 minutes. It's a very scenic lonely twisty highway.

Well the one for my state, Rte 32 goes thru Monson, Palmer, Ware and Athol, all good size city/towns.

Parts are nice, but, definitely well traveled.  Heck, there's a Walmart/Lowes shopping center on it.

There are some much more deserved roads in Mass that fit "Least Traveled" and /or "quiet".

The article's author subtitled it "most scenic, quiet" and I'm all for that.  Many, many back highways of Wyoming, the panhandle of Nebraska, and eastern Utah are comfortably described as in the above.  That junction of Nevada, California, and Oregon sure is quiet and scenic (if scenic means the big wide open) when I've traveled it.  There are open range wild horses and burros out there, folks.

If the author actually rode all those paths, then my hat is tipped to him and a handshake is in order.

My guess is that you could travel US 385 from our southern border to our northern border (with a merge of US 85 onward north to Canada).  Anyone ever done that?

I opine that trip would be classified as "a hoot". Cool
Scenic, quiet, and probably restful.  No phone, no pool, no pets.

Hey DDT, get on it, we're waiting for the report! Smiley

Hook, thanks for the post, haven't seen this particular info before.

Here's a little traveled (in motor vehicles) road; Pennsylvania Ave in front of the White House.

Closed for some years now.

But if you are looking for some excitement, try it on your bike.

Leave the wife in Lafayette Park before you do, so someone can try and bail you out later (or visit you in the hospital).

I like Andrew Jackson, and how he gets to tip his hat to all sitting presidents, with cannon aimed at them from the park.   Grin

You'll notice they've been plugged up, so some joker can't shove an M80 and handful of rocks down them.

I used to go over and sit there to eat my bag lunches.  Until an old lady kept asking if I wanted free sex.  The sex sounded good, but I don't think she'd had a bath in quite some time (and our lunch breaks weren't that long).

Jess, the sex might have been free, but what about the treatment after? Smiley

Well you know...... the old $20 copay, and a break on my meds.

At first, I thought it was a nice compliment (since I never had offers like that before).

But then I saw she was asking everyone in the park the same question.

It was only after I saw her surrounded by police officers, who I think didn't want to arrest her, just wanted her to stop, that I decided to eat elsewhere.  Getting called as a witness in her trial would have been embarrassing (and a big PITA).  And of course the inevitable explanation to the wife.

Look, I was just eating my lunch, OK.
